First time visiting Al Biernat’s North Dallas, and it absolutely lived up to the reputation. We started with the escargot and oysters—both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For the main course, we had the veal and the scallops, and each dish was excellent, cooked just right and beautifully presented.
The service was genuinely outstanding; professional, attentive, and warm without being overbearing. We were celebrating an early birthday for a friend, and the staff made the evening feel special. A fantastic overall experience and definitely a place I’ll be returning to.

Very impressive restaurant! When we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and immediately took us to our table. Our server, Bebe, was attentive, professional, and honest. The cocktail was very good. The portion of the food were generous. For appetizer, we had the crab cakes. We were pleasantly surprised that they were loaded with crabmeat. We also ordered the soup and it was ok; a bit too thick. We ordered the Al’s salad and our server, Bebe, warned us that it is a big salad. Despite her warning, we ordered the salad. We shared but we still couldn’t finish it. The vegetables and the seafood were very fresh and delicious. We also ordered the salmon entrees. The salmon was served on top of a bed of fresh vegetables. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Our only suggestion is to cut down the sweetness on the salad, but then this is only our own opinion. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely wine and dine here again and again.

Wonderful first time experience with Al Biernats. Drove up from Palestine, TX for a night with wife to just celebrate life. James Gee the Mgr, stopped by to make sure all was good. He visited with us at length and shared the good things about the restaurant. Our waiter Luis was on point, knew the menu and made the best recommendations. Our thanks to the staff for a great evening. We will be back. Came as a result of a friend telling us about a year ago we needed to try this place.

I had a company dinner hosted in the Owl Room and it was a beautiful night. I ordered the Salmon and my date ordered the Filet. Both were very delicious. The Salmon was cooked to perfection and everything came together so well. Chris was a fantastic server for our table and made sure everything was perfect. I really enjoyed my experience at Al Biernat’s North. I ordered Old School Ray’s Meatloaf. The gravy and the green beans were excellent. The meatloaf should have had more seasoning and the whipped potatoes would have been better with garlic. The service was the best I have had in North Texas.

Gino was my waiter, he was nice but had slow service. There was a good playlist in the restaurant. I had a solo reservation and was seated in a huge booth, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The food was just okay. I like the other Dallas location better.

We stopped in on a weekday for a birthday lunch and had a wonderful experience. The staff was kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. I had been to the Oak Lawn location several times, but this was my first time at the North location. I started with the soup of the day, which was flavorful and delicious. We also shared the crab cakes as an appetizer, and they were excellent. For our main courses, my little sister ordered the Wagyu meatball daily special, her husband had a sandwich, and I had the lump crab angel hair. All of the dishes were very good and well prepared. To make the day even more special, the staff brought my sister a dessert for her birthday. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would be happy to dine here again.

Best dining experience ever! My boyfriend and I came to Al Biernat’s to celebrate our three year anniversary. When we got to our table we noticed that they had set out rose petals for our romantic evening, their efforts do not go unnoticed! Our server Kurt, was nothing short of an exceptional server! Kurt did an outstanding job, he even provided us with complimentary champagne and dessert, which made our night feel even more special. Don’t even get me started on how amazing the food tasted, huge shoutout to the kitchen for the beautiful food that we were served. I ordered the 8oz filet which was seared with crispy garlic, it was literally the best thing I have ever ate from a restaurant. My boyfriend got the Chilean sea bass, which he devoured and enjoyed. We have decided that Al Biernat’s will be our go to spot for future celebrations and anniversaries. We can’t wait to try out more things! Until next time 🙂

I had an incredible experience at Al Biernat’s North! I ordered the Surf and Turf with a Caesar Salad, and it was absolutely perfect. Hands down the best steak I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The seafood was just as amazing, and the Caesar salad was fresh and crisp. The staff was outstanding very attentive, friendly, and made the whole evening feel special. 10/10 all around. If you’re looking for a top-notch dining experience, this is the place to go!
