Sashimi lunch set is a standard lunch, the weird part was the bowl of rice that included is our regular jasmine rice instead of sushi rice. Hopefully this can be corrected as the texture does not go well with the sashimi.
Omakase sets, (forgot to take a picture of the hand roll) overall fresh and taste great, specifically for the hand roll which is stuff with toro, the uni taste amazing. Dessert was ok. You may ask for green tea or rice tea.
They would’ve received a 5 stars on food and service if the server would explain which side we should start eating to enhance the experience. It always beneficial to guest if they hear and understand the texture and story. The food overall has a great presentation.
Probably best to train to waiter/waitress to slightly explain on how to consume (potentially can use hand with clean towels)
Washroom looks clean and well maintained! Cozy environment with many private rooms.
Still deserve a 5 stars because you cannot complaint with the price on what they have offered. This is overall great experience. Thank you
First let’s talk about the food, the food is very reasonable for the price given there is a cash discount. You also get a salad and miso soup along with it. The Curry Katsu was tender, fatty, and overall good paired up with the sauce. Second, the Miso Ramen was had a springy, texture, and also well seasoned Cha Siu. Lastly and what I think is my favourite is the Salmon Sushi Set. The salmon was creamy, soft and very fresh, no not much fishy taste at all. The portions were also pretty reasonable giving 4 pc Sashimi, 4 pc Sushi, and 6 pc Maki.
The environment is also very nice and clean. They had Tatami mats where you can sit and an overall pretty intimate quiet environment. The service was exceptional especially from Tim, he was attentive and gave us good recommendations.
Overall, will be coming back for another round of sushi/sashimi, their lunch prices are pretty difficult to beat.
We ordered sashimi, salads, assorted tempura, a grilled platter, and ramen. Service felt rushed, and when dishes arrived, the staff expected us to clear space on the table ourselves. The ramen was the biggest disappointment — cold broth, soft noodles, and overall poor flavour. The grilled prawn also tasted like it had been frozen rather than fresh. The rest of the food was acceptable but nothing memorable.
Between the service issues and uneven food quality, this was a 2‑star experience for us, and we wouldn’t return.
The sushi and sashimi were fresh and top grade.
Service was great. The servers were friendly, courteous and informative.
The gender neutral restrooms are clean and spacious.
We’ll be back !!
I had their omakase meal and theie selection of fish was fresh and seasonal. I had their sashimi add on. Highly recommended.
Will definitely be coming back and trying out other items on the menu.
