I’m quite impressed with Akito. Very good dishes with plenty of flavor in each bit. Did was served hot and very healthy proportions. Service was good. The dining hall was quite large which was nice.

Very interesting and delicious place. It’s almost like a whole on the wall feel as it has many areas that are seemingly blocked off, super vintage tube TV’s, but also koy fish and fountains! It’s very unique and worth going just for the perplexing atmosphere. You order and pay before you sit down, but once you sit down it’s a normal style restaurant with a waitress and table service. The food is great, way better than you would ever expect from a place like this and much much better than your average Japanese place. One of my favorites.

I can’t express how much I loved the food here. I got sesame beef and it was so good before I realized that there was a sauce that came with it and I drizzled it on and it somehow made it better. It was a big portion so I got to enjoy it the next day also. My stomach and I look forward to getting more soon.

Absolutely outrageous. This “Akito” boy stomped over to the table I was sitting at and proceeded to beat my boyfriend Rui—who already struggles with many physical and mental illnesses—with a metal bar!!!!!! Many of the witnesses ignored my constant shouts against him and continued eating their food as if this behavior was normal. This is unacceptable and I will NEVER be coming back. -1/10

Always good service and meal at Akito. Olivia has been one of our servers every time we’ve been there. Always checking on us to see if we need anything. Great portions for the price. Never had a bad meal there!!!
