i told the guy i didn’t want to order sushi and i wanted the shrimp hibachi then he tried to charge me. then he told me the japanese soda was $2 but whole time it was $5 . they make you pay extra for fried rice without knowing . the atmosphere was really entertaining and the hibachi guy was really nice but the guy that took our orders had an attitude. the food was good tho , very filling.

I love visiting Hibachi places because of the experience with your chef. The chef here was great. Ambience, place and quality of the food was ok. Everything looks older so your experience here might depend on your standards… but it’s definitely ok.

Great place for dinner. Sat at the bar and Alan and the Owner were very attentive and provided excellent service. The sushi was GREAT! Ended up ordering extra. Had Hibachi for dinner at the bar which was also very good. Good portion, was just right! Will be returning soon!

Today was supposed to be a day of enjoyment. My grandma only had 2 more days to live and she wanted her final meal to be Akita hibachi. The moment we walked in my grandma almost had an heart attack. We were scheduled for 630 sharp and we were forced to wait. As soon as we sat down they asked us if we liked our food raw. They made fun of how old my poor grandma is and during the cooking I ordered my chicken and the guy serving us went to the bathroom with a cup and burnt our food. When he came back there was suspicious white liquid in the cup and he used it all over my chicken. When I got my chicken it tasted sour and disgusting. I immediately threw up and puked all over the hibachi grille. At that moment my grandma stopped breathing and we had to call an ambulance. The hibachi staff looked at us and did nothing. Later that night my grandma died. U would not recommend this place to anybody.

After our private hibachi chef canceled last minute. AKITA HIBACHI saved our celebration this past Saturday. At around 6:30pm I called with an order for My Godsister’s Dinner party. 16 people with 16 different hibachi orders as well as sushi rolls, spring rolls and goyza. My order was well over 600 dollars. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. Some guests had food allergies.The dinner was 8pm. Akita had our order ready by 7:40.

My grandma died and we came here after her funeral service. As soon as we got there they treated us horrible, and were racist to us mimicking us. The service was atrocious they nutted in my food because I asked for extra soy sauce, and they messed my reservation up!
