Me and my husband have been coming here about once a month for about a year for their all you can eat sushi. $30 per person is a great deal. The service is always friendly and fast given all the sushi is fresh and hand rolled. We’ve never had an issue with the quality of food or service. Yes the restaurant is slow sometimes, most of their business seems to come from carry-out, but it’s family run and I love to support my local businesses.

used to go to this restaurant a lot. This afternoon i spent $40 on a togo lunch order. While eating at home with my babies, i felt a piece of metal in my bite of hibachi… THANK GOODNESS I DIDNT SWOLLOW IT and the restaurant told me next time they will give me 75% off next time…. never going back.

It was a slow Weds it seemed, we were the only dine in for lunch.
I’m highly confused at the reviews, I thought the food was amazing, as well as, the service, yes we were the only ones in there, but everyone was nice.
The food was super fresh, and fried items we ordered were fried perfectly, and full of flavor.
We got the all you can eat, and left with absolute full bellies.
Family owned business.
Double krab roll is
Whitefish Katsu is
Shumai is not steamed, but super good.
Sushi was super fresh, and that’s not the case with most all you eat joints.

I ordered the following:
1. +Avocado Roll – daughter approves
2. -Crispy Crunchy salmon roll – my daughter and I thought the cream cheese tasted off (weird). The fried texture was crunchy but the inside ingredients were all mushy for some reason. I ate many crunchy rolls before but this tasted a bit unusual in an unpleasant way.
3. +House Special Hibachi combination mushroom soup, ginger salad, noodles, grilled mixed vegetables, cubed steaks (medium rare as requested), white chicken meat, and a few grilled shrimp. The grilled vegetables were cooked to softness which my daughter likes. Steak, chicken, and shrimp were all tender and moist. We omitted the rice. I recommended their House Special Hibachi combination.
Atmosphere: cozy and spacious
Service: Very slow and the restaurant weren’t even half full.
Parental note: The little boy who sat at the front desk playing video games might need to learn to stop using curse words out loud. As a mom, I do not allow filthy dirty words coming from my kids. If he is the owner’s son, cursing out loud isn’t an appropriate thing to do at a workplace or public setting like in a restaurant either.
Overall, I will not be coming back.

My family of 9 absolutely loved the food and service this restaurant provided. We all did the All You Can Eat and was very pleased. Even with a few picky eaters in the family including myself we could all find something to eat. Jennifer was amazing handling my family. We will definitely be back!

Had an amazing experience at Akira Sushi & Steak House! The sushi was incredibly fresh, the hibachi was delicious, and our Chef Alan was absolutely fantastic. He kept everyone entertained the whole time and made the meal so much fun. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all top-notch.
Highly recommend—this place truly deserves five stars!

Bit of a mixed experience here, but more positive than negative. Arrived a couple min after 11am on a Saturday and the doors were locked and the lights were off. I called the restaurant and no answer. Annoying. Around 11:10am I was ready to go somewhere else when a car pulled up with three people in it, who rolled down their window and told me they would be open in a few minutes. True to their word, the restaurant opened a few minutes later. Once inside, I ordered the AYCE, which features appetizers, hibachi, and sushi options! One thing I really liked was the selection of sushi rolls, many of which included cream cheese! I ordered a salmon cheese roll, a tuna cheese roll, a Godzilla roll, and a double salmon roll and they were all very tasty! Well rolled and fresh! I was basically full because those rolls were quite large, but I wanted to try the hibachi sirloin steak, and it was better than I expected, tender and flavorful, with no fat or gristle! One other slightly annoying part of the experience was while I was waiting for my food, one of the employees (maybe someone’s kid, he seemed really young) went around the entire dining area with a broom and dustpan, and loudly slammed the dustpan against the floor every time he moved 6 inches, so I just heard him loudly sweep for about 10 minutes, an activity that someone who knew what they were doing could have done virtually silently. He also got weirdly close to me, and came within inches of literally sweeping over my shoes.

What a great experience for a party or group. Excellent for business or casual, love the live chef at the grill. Excellent parking and located at the end of the plaza.
