Super good prices for decent quality sushi! I always order two seared salmon, two gyozas, and a soup! 🙂 and pick something off the conveyer belt. Service is always good and the people are really nice. You get your food fast and each plate is very affordable. Basically about $2.5 per plate for what I order on average!

Best conveyor belt sushi in the area in terms of price, selection, and consistency. I max out from downtown PDX to eat. Great seared salmon and tempura shrimp roll. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options alongside of meat centered plates. Busy times are evenings and weekends, would recommend ordering plates if you don’t see the selection you want on the train. Staff is fast and friendly. Could accomodate larger groups if willing to split seating into different booths. Parking is safe, plentiful, and free. Would recommend going to Happy Lemon across the street for smoothie/milk tea after!

Pros: We were seated quickly, there were a lot of options, and the service was okay.

Cons: Dirty glasses, ants watching us eat, and the salmon nigiri was warm. Didn’t seem very fresh.

Would we come here again? No.

Service: Great. Quick. Attentive.
Food: Great. Tea pretty good too! Fresh.
Cleanliness: Great. (Squeaky clean!)
Atmosphere: Good. (It seemed a little quiet, maybe some background music?)
Busy? Not too much at 11am on a Sunday.

Comments: I really like the organization of plates on the conveyor. Sectioned with photos. The fact they gave us a whole pot of tea was fantastic since I imagine it was light enough in terms of being busy to allow a pot to sit at our table.

11/25/2022: IT IS STILL GREAT

2/18/2023: I’m still amazed by the labels and photos that go along the conveyors for organization.

Delicious sushi at a very fair price! I was blown away by the conveyor style. It was fresh and awesome! Great place to eat quickly!

Located across the street from the Beaverton Town Square, this is a typical train sushi spot with a big variety of choices in a continuous rotation. The selection of what was available was quite impressive and it was a great idea to group the selection’s together with a placard explaining the item! Not a big selection of sake on hand, but again, this is a train sushi spot and not a restaurant. So, If you’re ever in the area and need a quick bite to hold you over for a few hours, give this place a try! Service ✅Food ✅ Atmosphere ✅ Mahalo Akira Sushi Beaverton!

Prices for the sushi are very good. We we’re told to grab a seat and no server came up to ask us for anything else. We got cups of water towards the end of our meal and we did ask for miso soup, which never came. The food was subpar at best, but on par with the price we paid.

Would we come back here? Not very likely unless there was fresher sushi and better service

I have been to Akira so many times, I think it’sbout time I leave a review of this awesome sushi train spot.

I usually come here right after ice skating lessons, with big groups before going to the movies, and casually with friends!

They always have a ton on of sushi plates stocked (stacked up to 3!) and I enjoy a majority of their rolls! My go to rolls are: Akira Roll (signature role ftw!), White Tiger Roll (salmon and cream cheese lezzgo!), Dragon Roll (gotta have that eel), Creamy Scallop, and the House Roll (they use salmon instead of tuna!).

The service is really nice and I like listening to the canto/mandarin atmosphere! ☺️

Love this place, stop in everytime Im in town now. Theyve usually got the belt pretty stocked and its all labeled with whats in it too which is so nice. Staff is friendly but can be hard to catch the attention of when it gets busy but thats to be expected.

The environment is good. But the food is really bad. Maybe it is late and we are almost the last table. A lot of stuffs are not available. I think there is nothing to eat.
