Everyone is so nice here! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Their ramen with the udon noodles is amazing. Their sushi is fresh, and I loved their Karaage Don – the chicken was so crispy! Everything here is flavorful and delicious!

Had an amazing time dining here today for my twin sister’s birthday. Service was amazing, and the fact that we didn’t even say anything about their birthday to them and yet they came to ask whose birthday was it. After we told them, they came with a little treat with a whole song and a birthday sign. They really went above and beyond with the service, made it really special for them. We definitely had an amazing time and the food was delicious as always.

Food was flavorful and delicious. Out of the three Akira ramen locations I’ve been this location was my favorite. I had the Akira volcano ramen and it had a decent spice level that complements the rich flavor of the soup base. We also tried the sliced beef and Akira ramen dishes. Each of the dishes were awesome. We started with the Towson crab dumpling appetizer. The appetizer was delicious and came out shortly after ordering. The location has ample seating and attentive service. I found the food delivery robots interesting and futuristic. Overall the vibe in the restaurant was relaxed. Given the close proximity to Cinemark movie theater definitely will be back.

The Rose Strawberry milk cap cake is to DIE for. Absolutely delicious. Ramen was incredible and get a great amount for the cost. The dream of Sakura was amazing. The dragon roll was something that my taste buds couldn’t describe, it was amazing.

This place is a gem!!! Came for the lunch special, $20 for ramen and an app. When you enter you’re greeted with cheerful faces and a beautiful fish tank. The decor is welcoming and well done. Service was friendly and prompt, food was delicious and came out hot and fast on a robot (you gotta come eat here to see it) We will be back thank you!

Akira Ramen in Towson served up a meal that was this close to greatness—and definitely worth a return trip. I kicked things off with two pieces each of tuna and salmon nigiri, and they were impressively fresh and tender. They did skip the traditional little wasabi surprise tucked between the fish and rice, but the quality was solid enough that I didn’t hold a grudge. (Okay, maybe a tiny, very polite grudge.)
The tonkatsu ramen arrived next, smelling like comfort in a bowl. The broth was rich and satisfying, and the pork belly was basically the cozy sweater of proteins—soft, warm, and exactly what you want. The noodles, though, were a bit undercooked, giving “chewy enthusiasm” instead of “smooth slurp.” Not a disaster, just a minor distraction from an otherwise great bowl.
Service was friendly and attentive—the kind where you feel noticed but not hovered over.

Took my son here for his birthday and it was good. I didn’t take a lot of photos of the food, but we had the crab dumplings for our appetizer. All four of us had different Ramen. My son is picky about his food and he enjoyed it here.

Akira in Towson is an incredible place to eat, whether you’re on your own or with friends. They have a spacious area, a relaxed vibe, and a wide selection of delicious food, including ramen, sushi, and other options. They also have boba and teas, and the service is top-notch!

My friends and I came here a couple times now after a very studious study session at the library. The servers were so kind and accommodating. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is very comforting and inviting! Will definitely come back again and again!!!
