A nice find while passing through Bel Air.
Service here was really good; our server, Will, was attentive and was able to answer a few questions about some menu items with familiarity. We did take some time order, but he was patient and ready when we were ready.
We ordered salmon tempura, shrimp tempura, and mozzy sticks (deep fried everything, I know). Portions were fair for the price and flavorful. Presentation was nice; I can appreciate that they put the tempura rolls together, instead of bringing a bunch of small plates.
Overall, the combination of good service, good food, and a fair price makes this place definitely worth visiting again.

We had a lunch for three today. We had a tuna sushi and Salmon sushi for starters. We also had three ramen noodles bowls and they were delicious! The staff was very friendly and checked in on us to make sure water was refilled, asked how our food was and cleaned up our table. They thanked us for coming as they bid us goodbye. Awesome experience!

My wife and I came here on a Sunday evening for a quick dinner. The employees were very kind and attentive. Our waiter took both our appetizer and entrée orders at the same time, something we usually do to save time. The food arrived quickly and was hot when served.
I ordered the Volcano Ramen, Sexy Jalapeños, and Crystal Shrimp Dumplings. The dumplings were tasty, but the sauce that came with them really made the dish, a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The Sexy Jalapeños had good flavor, though the different textures and consistency could be a bit much after a few bites.
The MVP was, of course, the ramen. The broth was hot and flavorful, and the toppings complemented it perfectly, adding a comfortable level of spiciness.
The only downside was being seated by the door. If you’d like to avoid DoorDash drivers waiting nearby for pickup orders, I’d recommend asking for a table toward the back if available.

I’ve tried their ramen sushi and karage don.
Their karage chicken is the best so juicy and their food is fresh and tasty.
You also should definitely try there karage buns as appetizer, it is very delicious.

Newly discovered and it’s my hyper fixation!! The Akira Ramen was soooo delicious! We also ordered the Raven Roll (I believe) and it was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had!! Staff is always friendly and very quick with good preparation!

One of our favorite dining spots in Bel Air – authentic, tasty ramen – volcano and karaage are our favorites along with the tonkatsu don and chashu bun appetizer. Service is always prompt, attentive, and kind. Good sized portions. Highly recommended.

Amazing food! Do not hesitate to order everything on this menu. The Takoyaki, sushi, Okonomiyaki, custard buns, bao buns, and ramen were all flavorful. Broths of the ramens all very distinct and unique as well. Lastly the Hokkaido cheesecake was the perfect way to end the meal.

My family and I visited the Akira Ramen and Izakaya Restaurant in Bel Air, Maryland yesterday afternoon. The occasion was in celebration of our daughter’s 34th birthday. When we entered the establishment, we were greeted and quickly seated. Our waiter provided us boosters seats for my two granddaughters; menus; two large carafe’s of ice water; napkins and plates. We were very impressed with the large selection of appetizers, sushi platters, drinks and desserts. The food was simply DELICIOUS !! Not even a morsel remained on our plates. I highly recommend Akira Ramen and Izakaya of Restaurant of Bel Air, Maryland. This will be our go to place for Japanese foods. The staff is very polite; large menu selection; reasonably priced; and the food is delicious.
