Had a super great time at Akeno. I would highly recommend the Premium Nigiri platter which came with everything you’d want in a Nigiri combination. We also tried the Red Dragon roll, the spider roll, double toro roll – which was excellent. I tried the Toki sidecar cocktail which was also great. The prices to me were very reasonable for what we ate. Would try again. Overall very great.

Beautiful restaurant with a great vibe! The wait staff was incredibly nice and attentive—they even helped me charge my phone behind the bar, which I really appreciated. Exceptional foods and beverages. Similar menu to those are in the area but taste way better, Love the lichee Martini Drink. Parking is extremely difficult to find as the restaurant is located on King and Washington st.

Huge menu selections of all the amazing food, a good mixed of Japanese and Thai cuisine (heavily on Japanese).
We ordered variety of sushi and Thai dishes, however, standing out dishes were “Melting melting roll”, perfect balance of salmon and foie gras, the other one is was Pomelo salad, it was so bright and refreshing with a hint of spiciness, and the last one was rich and creamy black cod.
The owners were at the restaurant and they do care about what they are serving and the service was impeccable.
Will definitely be a regular here!
