Archer’s casually hip boutique hotel bar is steps from the open-air Redmond Town Center in Seattle’s Eastside suburb. AKB’s buzzy gathering spot features a lively bar with several seating vignettes, shuffleboard and an alfresco patio. Guests and locals alike come for the craft cocktails and shareable bites (or Archer’s favorite burger with bacon and shallot hash) after work or before a Marymoor event. This bar is five stars but with a seriously slow kitchen! The peach pizza and the lemon aioli with truffle fries are incredible. The server was personable and was pretty fast with the drinks. It is a lovely outdoor space, and even on a warm day I was grateful to be sitting next to a beautiful fireplace.
In contrast, the peach pizza took about 40 minutes and two gentle reminders. I know, because I sent photos to my husband when I arrived and then checked the timestamp when the pizza did not arrive. No water refill so I chose to get my own water from the hotel spigot. I had lovely company and it all worked out. The bar gave me the pizza for free since it was so incredibly late. I heard they were down two staff.

I stopped by AKB Hotel Bar at Archer Hotel Seattle and honestly, Sharon made the whole experience. She was friendly, easy to talk to, and made me feel welcome right away. Her service was relaxed but attentive, and she had great recommendations without being pushy. It’s clear she really cares about what she does, and that kind of energy makes a big difference when you’re traveling. She genuinely made my stay better — the kind of service you remember long after you leave.

I was there in the morning when Hillary was working and an older gal. I didn’t catch her name. But let me tell you the level of customer service Hillary gave us is out of this world. You can really tell she takes pride in her job and all with a smile. Even when being talked down to in front of customers by another employee who is clearly older and should know better than to act like that. If it wasn’t for Hillary then I would have probably walked out do to the attitude from the older gal. I just wanted to give a huge shout to Hillary and thank you for taking care of us.

I like the look and style of the dining space. The service started out extremely slow. To the point we were not sure we existed. It got better.

The service and quality of the akb bar in the Archer was one of the best parts of my staying experience. I came every morning for breakfast. The staff was so lovely and the food was delicious. Would definitely come again and recommend the Archer as a place to stay.

This restaurant offers delicious food, we tried breakfast and the maple bacon sandwich was incredible, we also ate here twice for dinner during our stay at the hotel, everything was delicious and servings are good. The first night a guy was our waiter and he didn’t want to be there the service was horrible until he saw we left a good tip when we left then he came to say goodbye and smile, the rest of the time al other waitresses were so friendly and even one of them spoke in Spanish with us since it’s our language.
