NOTE they have good price happy hour Tues – Fri, from them open – 7pm

We ordered a couple of yakitori and that’s within the standard.

The Grilled Mackerel was done very nicely. Crispy on the edges and tender/juicy fish meat.

We ordered Chicken Katsu, Salmon Don, Shoyu Ramen and Tonkotsu Ramen.

The Chicken Katsu was crunchy and rather big portion. The biggest complaint I have is the rice that came with the dish. As a Japanese restaurant, one would think they would use better quality rice, that is plump, bouncy and has a nice bite. The rice they served was more like the cheap version of take out Chinese restaurants…. Sigh…..

Onto better dishes, which is all the rest. The ramen noodles were cooked al dente, which is perfect. It has enough body that carries the ramen broth as you slurp the noodles into your mouth. The broth (both the Shoyu and the Tonkotsu) have nice flavors. The Tonkotsu has more levels of flavor and it makes you really appreciate the depths of the tastes as you let the soup and its aroma expand. The Shoyu is nice, light and yet contains right amount of seasoning.

Salmon Don didn’t look a lot but was plenty for us to share. There is a big sweet taste to the salmon and the roe. A bit too sweet for our tastes but still enjoyable.

Overall, we had good experience, the food was yummy and we were satisfied (with the exception of the rice. Akai Tori, if you are reading this, please do consider better quality of rice….). We will visit this place again.

Came with a group of friends on Friday and we all enjoyed the experience here!! Our server was very nice and friendly. She also provided us some great suggestions. I had volcano ramen and my friends had shoyu and salmon rice. We also got variety of appetizers, everything was so delicious. Will def. Come back again!

I just tried the best highly quality nigiri, Yakitori, and donburi. They recently opened, the staff kept checking up on us, the chef chatted with us, and it just feels like you’re in Japan. Please go check them out and give them some love! You can just tell the quality of seafood is premium & fresh. The seared salmon belly nigiri, The highlight dish was like heaven in my mouth. My other favorite is the Yakitori eel, scallop don, and truffle flavored shoyu ramen. We got the Sakura ramen and truffle flavored shoyu ramen which it takes them 1-2 days to prepare and the truffle you can smell right away when they start walking towards you. We also got the salmon sashimi katsu, tuna Tataki salad, quail egg, bacon wrapped mochi, chicken heart, and chicken thigh, and pork gyoza which they were so juicy. The Sakura bomb set was so smooth, which I’m usually not a fan of sake I also really liked how sweet the iced matcha is. They are a 10/10

The Takoyaki tasted great. I was expecting a more flavoured Ramen and miso soup. I was a little disappointed. I spent some time in Japan, so maybe I had higher standards than most people. Also, the management should get bigger table or bring the dishes one at a time. There is almost no space for 4 plates on the small table. The service itself was awesome and so was the atmosphere

The customer service was amazing. We came in when the restaurant opened at 5:00pm and there were already people dining in. We ordered the pan seared salmon onigiri, miso volcano ramen, black garlic tonkotsu ramen with shrimp tempura and pork cutlet, manager’s promotion, yakitori thighs and skin, and cheese cake and rice ball for dessert. The blacm garlic tonkotsu ramen and the pan seared salmon were my favorite. For the amount of food we ordered, we spent a little over $100.

This place was very good and I loved the vibes. I got the spicy miso ramen, and it really kicked my butt! It was good, and definitely spicy but not overly spicy I couldn’t finish it. I also got the matcha cake and I will say, it wasn’t that great. I love matcha but it just didn’t taste very good but that’s just me. My only gripe is that the server messed up a few things , one with the billing because some items we got were on their daily special but rung them at regular price, and then my husband asked for a certain menu item and they brought him the wrong thing. Also, they have meats you can buy but my goodness, the portion size was NOT worth it. I wish I got a picture of it. Everything else was amazing.

We were here twice during soft opening and now after. I really really want to like it but …. Between the two times we tried 3 different ramen: Miso, Black Garlic Tonkotsu and Truffle Flavor Shoyu. The soup base is very blend, I mean you get the hint of truffle but otherwise they taste very much the same. Noodles are acceptable not too soft or too hard. The eggs and chashu are above average. The seared salmon belly nigiri is pretty good but could do less sauce…the salmon belly has lots of flavor already, no need to overpower with too much sauce. Yakitori just bad overall, selection is small no beef or pork or chicken wings. The prince mushroom cut is just way too thick. The bacon asparagus wrapped where the bacon is not crispy at all, just a slab of cooked flimsy pork. And the sauce…you can tell that they just pour some sauce on top and served. If you’ve been to good yakitori, they slowly add a small layer of sauce as they grill the meat and is infused with the charcoal flavor. Overall disappointed, not coming back.

Went for quick dinner with friend. We ordered mostly yakitori and couple happy hours $5 small plates. The happy hour wings was too salty. We liked the salmon belly, salmon sashimi and all the yakitori that we ordered. For dessert we had yuzu cheesecake and crepe cakes. Only took pictures of the agedashi tofu, dessert and the salmon sashimi. Enjoy y’all.

Cute place and tasty! The spicy miso ramen was great! As a vegetarian this satisfied my ramen craving! Ordered 2 sticks of yakitori, king mushroom and quail eggs also very tasty. They have happy hour that starts at 7 pm so house sake was $5, which filled about 6 ish of those cups! And lastly dango was rich and gelatinous! Will be coming back!

We just went this past weekend and this has become my go to for Yakitori now. I was trying to make reservations online but it showed they only had availability until like April for a party of 3, so we decided to just go. We went there on a Sunday at noon and were seated immediately, so maybe try your luck in person. We basically wanted to try almost everything lol. We ordered the heart, liver, gizards, quail egg and chicken skin, my favorite were the liver and heart they were cooked to perfection. Usually some places overdoit with the liver and it’s too powdery. I didn’t try the quail egg but the hubs said it was pretty good, the skin was okay as well as the gizards but like I said I could’ve just eaten like all just hearts and livers cause they were delish. I ordered the black garlic ramen with shrimp tempura and we ordered a side of chasu to try it. OMG the chasu is to die for, you need to get this, it was so moist and flavorful I couldn’t get enough of it. They bring the meat on the side that’s why the pics show it like that. But order the chasu as an option, the tempura was okay but I think it’s because the chasu overshadow it! We had as a desert the mochi balls, I hadn’t tried these like that, wasn’t what I was expecting I probably should have read the description better but they were exactly as described. I was expecting something sweeter haha and it was as it says sweet soy. Highly recommend this place, the service was great, they brought everything out super quick and kept on coming to ask if we needed anything. Great addition to Vienna!
