From the moment I stepped into Akai Asian, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm, inviting ambiance and the sight of happy, cordial diners immediately set a fantastic mood. I felt genuinely welcomed by the staff, who guided me through their extensive menu—and wow, was I blown away by the selection!
For my first visit, I ordered the Chicken Bento Box, and it was easily a 5-star dish. It was a well-balanced masterpiece!
The box featured a delightful salad with corn, which was perfectly topped with a nice sesame seed oil dressing—it was incredibly savory and very tasty. It also included four delicious California rolls. Alongside these were some fried veggies and fried shrimp. They were very pleasant; not overwhelmingly greasy or heavy, but perfectly fried right to the bite. Lastly, the star was the delicious chicken served on top of fresh veggies and rice. Everything was perfectly prepared, showcasing the high quality and fresh flavors of Asian cuisine.
Akai Asian is a delightful setting with stellar service and truly exceptional food. I highly recommend it!
Got 2 free sushi rolls. Not sure which one it was but I think it was one of the spicy ones. I normally hate avocado but it was free so I ate it and it wasn’t a problem. It was good and the presentation was cute I think. Forgot to take a picture before I started eating so that picture is not exactly how it was served.
Employees seem very nice and were overall very welcoming and not intimidating. Lots of smiles which is nice to see. The restaurant looked pretty clean and the dishes for dine in looked nice too. Fit their aesthetic and those portions looked pretty big there too.
The rolls are packed with fresh fish, and the ramen is better than any other ramen shop.
The Thai tea is perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right.
You can truly see the chef’s dedication in every dish at this restaurant.
JjamBbong was on point, and the portion was generous.
The Sweet and Sour Pork didn’t disappoint either.
( This is often combined combo in Korean-Chinese cousine: hot and spicy soup + crispy and sweet sauce pork. IYLYK)
They also have Japanese Ramen, and sushi rolls.
Chill and casual vibe, easy to find parking.
Ima try their ramen + speciality roll next time 🙂
Our favorites: Seafood Jjam-pong, Spicy Chicken, $5 HH California Roll, Taro Drink!
