AKA Sushi never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi rolls are creative without being overdone, and you can tell quality ingredients are a priority. Everything we ordered tasted incredible—from the appetizers to the main rolls.

Clean and friendly. Staff very attentive to refilling your tea. The first cup of tea tasted fine but when it got refilled, tea tasted chlorinated. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Miso soup was piping hot as it should be. Disappointing that there were no tentacles with the calamari Salad.

We have been coming to Aka Sushi for over 10 years now, and do not have a single complaint! We have always been promptly greeted and seated, and never waited more than a minute or two for menus and drinks. The menus are varied, with lots of changing specials. Pictures and descriptions of special rolls are provided, choices can be marked on a paper menu and given to your server. Seafood is on display at the counter, and you may watch the chefs work. The presentation and quality of the sushi and rolls is awesome, staff is quick to deliver it and is very attentive to your needs. Definitely give Aka Sushi a try!

This was some of the best sushi I have had in 6+ years. Everything was so fresh, and the Specialty Rolls were creative. The service was excellent. My waitress offered some great suggestions. Was very attentive to me and my friends needs. If this place was closer to my house, I would eat here at least once a week.

Best sushi in the area! Sorry, couldn’t take a picture as all sushi were swallowed right away, that’s how delicious it was. I will try to take more pictures next time Baked Volcano roll is soooo good! Highly recommend! Huge 4 pieces. Also we had Dragon roll and salmon sake, all great size and taste! Oh, and miso soup was fresh and tasty ❤️ Will definitely be back. Five starts from a picky sushi lover – me

I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s really a gem of a spot and I look forward to each and every visit. After just moving to VA, I’m so happy that I have an awesome sushi place close by. The ambience is very chill and fairly quiet. The servers are so kind and attentive. The food is amazing! I’m more of a nigiri/sashimi type and love that they have great a la carte choices. Their Escolar (White Tuna) is amazing! Try it out if you’re in the area.

Really jammin sushi spot outside of manassas. Fresh fatty tuna and amber jack that was very very well prepared. Very happy to be surprised by this place, we will definitely return soon.
