Food was amazing with lots of variety. There were also some veggie options, which is great for someone who doesn’t eat meat/fish. The staff was nice and the restaurant has a lovely decoration as well. It is a bit more expensive, but if you value quality food and don’t mind spending a bit more, you won’t be disappointed. In my opinion this place has the best sushi in Luxembourg.

Very good service. The food quality is acceptable, but overpriced for what is offered. At €40–60 per person for a sushi train , I’ve had noticeably better sushi in Luxembourg—and left feeling satisfied, which wasn’t the case here. In my opinion a sushi train should be all you can eat, and not pay per plate, which lowered the overall satisfaction for the evening.

It was very nice, me and my partner came for the sushi train, which was not worth. because there was almost no rotation in the food, what made hot food cold very quick, for example, dumplings where cold. And there was a big lack of variety. Personally, I think until they improve this, it’s better just to move forward with the normal menu, which looked awesome!!

Service and attention was great.

Quality fish, interesting special sushis.
Interior concept very high-end.
Good choice, but also the price reflects the high end interior. Caj recommend if you want to have and exquisite date, or an important dinner meeting.

‼️ My recent experience at aka, which offers a Sushi Train concept, was extremely disappointing. While charging per plate based on color is a standard practice, aka’s prices are unjustifiably high given the poor quality of the food. Each plate color corresponds to a price tier, ranging from 4.00€ to 7.00€, which suggests a higher quality, but the reality was far from that.

The sushi was poorly prepared and lacked freshness. The rice texture was off, and the toppings were subpar. I have never encountered such low-quality sushi, and the pricing structure only adds to the frustration. For what they charge, one would expect a far better dining experience.

Overall, aka fails to meet even basic expectations in terms of quality and value. The pricing is entirely unreasonable for the standard of food provided.

Unfortunately, we were not very satisfied with our experience at AKA Restaurant in Luxembourg. Despite the restaurant not being busy at all — there were almost more staff than guests — we still had to wait over 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. When we called a waitress, she walked past us and replied rather arrogantly that someone would come shortly. No smile, no friendliness, and no sense of hospitality.

It also took a relatively long time for our sushi and sashimi combo for three people to be served. While the selection of fish was nice and varied, overall we have definitely had better sushi and maki elsewhere.

All in all, the service and the quality did not meet our expectations, and we will not be returning.

A japanese theme sushi restaurant located on top of the library. The ambient was cosy with a lot of tables for 2 and 4 people. They were distributed around an open kitchen, so the level of noise was low.
We didn’t make a reservation but went early on a weekday, so we were seated right away.

The food was incredibly amazing, with lots of different flavours to try! We ordered an entry to share and a main to share!
The presentation was beautiful, and so was the flavour of both plates.

The only bad thing was the waiter only spoke French, so it made comunication a bit difficult!

We had a truly disappointing experience; despite the high prices, the meal was a letdown from start to finish. The ramen was overwhelmingly gingery, tasting almost like pure raw ginger, and the chicken and cashews dish was just a basic stir-fry with nothing special. On top of that, the service was extremely slow. It took about 30 minutes just to get a bottle of wine, and the mains took around 1 hour 45 minutes. We witnessed multiple tables arrived after us yet receive their mains and pay before we even received our main meals. Considering there was a lot of staff available and a quiet restaurant, the service and food delivery was sooooo slow. Overall, a major letdown and definitely not worth the cost.

Seems appealing visually, staff is friendly and attentive, and food was nice, however not so much of authenticity, more like that known UK sushi chain so one star down. It would be ok but the prices are on the high side thus another star down – I don’t mind paying more but it’s really hard to justify, comparing it to more authentic places on quality of food alone. Also the menu is structured weirdly so that you have spirits, food, more food, sushi menu, desserts, beers and wines in that order. Also you are likely to end up in the library on the first uneducated attempt to get there. On the plus side service was quick, but very early in the evening so rather expected, decor is nicely thematic and the magnetic belt is a nice novelty.
