I stopped by Ajwa Halal Restaurant recently and honestly, I was not expecting to be blown away — but their chai and fish fry completely surprised me.

Their chai is on a whole different level. The moment I took the first sip, I felt that perfect balance of strong tea flavor, rich creaminess, and just the right amount of sweetness. It has that authentic desi taste that warms your soul.
Smooth, bold, and incredibly satisfying — the type of chai that makes you order a second cup without thinking.
One of the BEST chai experiences I’ve had in New Jersey. Absolutely must-try!
Fish Fry – Fresh, Flavorful & Crispy
The fish fry was another highlight. Crispy on the outside, soft and perfectly cooked inside. The spices were spot on — flavorful without being overpowering, and everything tasted freshly prepared.
It reminded me of traditional Pakistani-style fried fish, the kind you usually only get at good home kitchens. Light, tasty, and very well seasoned.

Five stars without a doubt! I ordered the Hamburger and it was exactly what I was craving—a thick, juicy patty with all the classic fixings. My partner had the Chicken Burger and said it was incredibly flavorful and moist. We shared an order of the Vegetable Samosa, which were perfectly cooked. This restaurant really understands how to make simple food taste extraordinary. Excellent service as well.
