I was told to try out CT pizza for my short visit. As a NYC resident I have high expectations – but this did not disappoint. I loved every bite and would eat this any day of the week! Interesting shows on the TV – I was munching on some pizza while watching Russians box on top of a hot air balloon then they were sky diving off of it.

I’m completely overwhelmed by the level of service from AJ’s Steak&Pizza.
I called today to purchase a gift certificate for some friends that live in Goshen, and wanted to know if I was able to purchase the certificate online. I was asked to hold for a second and Lynne, (I hope the spelling is right) comes to the phone, and after a short conversation, offered to deliver the certificate to our friend’s house.
I spent 32 years in Retail management and a business owner prior to that, so I can appreciate great customer service, however, this was above and beyond my expectations.
We dropped the ball by not going there personally, and unfortunately we needed the certificate for today or tomorrow.
This was an amazing experience!
I received a phone call from Lynne shortly after my call to notify me that the certificate had been delivered.
Thank you Lynne, for your outstanding customer service. Just incredible!
What a blessing you were today!

Our first time. Food was outstanding. Sorry I didn’t photo it. 11 of us co-workers for Tuesday steak special. Drinks, food, service top notch. Comfortable seating. Large area inside and out. Specials every night. Unbelievable pricing. Most had steak tips or rib eye with potatoes and veggies plus a salad. What a deal at $12.99. We will return. Tasty specialty cocktails. Baskets of free peanuts and they tell you to throw the shells on the floor. 11 people’s food only $171.00.

Wish we would’ve stopped in sooner! Spent 7 months working 2.5 miles down the road and just found out about this place! Service was great, food was perfectly seasoned and great portions for the pricing. For being in business for 30 years, it was extremely clean and uncluttered like some other places tend to get! We’ll be back and highly recommend.

Went to AJ’S with my family, a party of 7 on New Years eve.
Started off with the Cajun shrimp which were great, then the loaded baked potatoes which were OK and the nachos with dried out chicken and slightly burnt chips. A variety of entrees which were all pretty good. From the prime rib French dip, Goshen downtown Philly, steak and cheese, buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. That was the sandwiches that everyone enjoyed. Then there was the country fried steak that was good and I had the stuffed flounder which I thought was just ok, it was kinda swimming in a soupy sauce. It came with excellent fries and coleslaw.
Our waitress was just back from vacation and didn’t skip a beat. Helpful with the menu and excellent with service. The place has a great atmosphere, good prices and nice portions. We would definitely recommend.
Only downside was the nachos and the soupy flounder, but it did have good taste.

What a hidden gem tucked in the north end of CT! Went for lunch and enjoyed every bit of our meals! We had soup and salads to start – all good starters. Then we had the chicken melt, goshen Philly, and mahi fish tacos – everything was delicious! Service was good and the place was beautiful! Will definitely return!

We stopped here on the way home from Mohegan Sun, and boy we are glad we did!! The service is phononenal and the atmosphere is the perfect biker atmosphere. Beautiful bar and dining inside and also outside dining on the porch. The menu is wonderful and the food is even better. The price is very affordable and you get great portions. I had the biker burger with bacon no bun, and the house slaw on the side and my boyfriend got AJ’s French Dip Sandwich. For a starter we got their own homemade chips with blue cheese and scallions and tomato and bacon on top. Delicious . We will definitely be back!!

Large porch parking holds 50 plus vehicles. Hostess and wait staff professional, friendly, and fast moving. Large bar area open ceilings. Free peanuts. New England type roadhouse. Wished they had played some Doors! Clean bathrooms off bar area. Tables in bar area were sticky and as long as you don’t mind walking on peanut shells great place. If available choose Porch area. Dozen draft beers. Great cocktails. Food was very good. The French onion soup was cheesy and delicious. That’s a must. $90 2 people. Small house pizza thin crust hot not greasy. Very good. Shrimp app fantastic the broth is excellent wish I had more bread!

I stopped in here with Debbie for dinner and really liked the look and feel. I was very impressed with the menu and pricing. Great variety of steaks, pizza, sandwiches, appetizers, seafood, drinks, and specials. I started with a big cup of chili topped with melted cheddar, chips and a side of sour cream. Great big chunks of meat, tasty peppers and onions, and light to no beans, it was enjoyable. Debbie had fried Mozzarella, bigger than I’m used to seeing,, she enjoyed them. I then had the special fried turkey Rachel and it was cooked perfect with great coleslaw, Swiss, 1000 islands. Debbie had the rodeo burger rare. It was cooked spot on and very tasty. I also took some Carolina wings to go. We took a bit of leftovers to go also. We were impressed and can’t wait to go back.

We were on a cheeseburger quest and found AJ’s. It’s a nice casual place. Friendly employees and reasonable prices. I had a cheeseburger with bacon and avocado. There was a reasonable charge for added items and they were generous with the avocado. The flavor of the hamburger was outstanding and it was cooked exactly as ordered which was medium rare. The roll was very good also. The French Fries were just okay especially compared to how good the hamburger was. I would definitely eat there again.
