Popped in to check out AJs Pub for lunch and had a great experience! Ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup, which included a side so I got the onion petals, and the pepperoni pizza. All was absolutely delicious! Service was great, even with a surprisingly packed lunch crowd. Nice cold beers and great options for food and drink at reasonable prices. All in all, a fantastic little neighborhood pub we are excited to add in to the rotation.

great affordable food- burgers were juicy, flavorful & cooked perfectly. Salad was fresh & tips were seasoned just right and cooked to our liking. Tenders were MASSIVE & the sauces we got (garlic parm & mango habanero) were delicious! The fries are out of this world! Home made chips were yummy too!
Decor is great, nice & cozy. You get a classic pub feel with a strong patriotic theme. You see TVs in every direction-Go Pats! The big bar is fully stocked & runs the length of the main dining room. They also have a set back section with comfy chairs for a more intimate vibe.
They also have another dining area where the bar is not in view.

I swear, this place was built out of a page in my head. It’s what all my food people I talk to, always agree upon, are the best finds in the food world. The comfy, cozy bar/restaurant atmosphere, with great music, and awesome food, where the staff is fun, and personable, and the prices are better than fair, for what your getting for your money. I am a hamburger junkie. These burgers are up against the best I ever had. I got the Old Glory. Bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and their own sauce. It was awesome. The fries are the thick ones, crispy on the outside and mashed potatoes on the inside(my favorite), and the beer was ice cold. I asked the people next to me if they liked the food, and they said they loved it. They ordered wings, the char grilled oysters which I’m getting next time, and split a giant salad. I forget which one but they said it was all awesome. I’ll be here once a week for sure.

Everyone knows this spot because of what it was. Its had a nice facelift. However it still has the same vib and feeling. It was great to talk with AJ and get to know him a little bit. He done a lot of updating and cleaning up the spot.

Great restaurant for food near Wrentham outlets. Classic bar vibe but clean and welcoming. I got the Old Glory burger and it was really good! Perfect crispy fries too. Excited to add this spot to my rotation

Standard pub fare, nothing to write home about. But I think it’s perfect if you just want to grab some beers and have some wings, loud-ish music. The fries are your standard Sysco-ish, on the thicker side, plain. They charge $2 to add seasoning to your fries or chips, a quick menu flip away from the side with the charge, making it seem like a standard option – an upsell that’s not worth it. Haven’t tried a burger there because they advertise them as Smash Burgers, but the ones I’ve seen people order are not… They’re more like thinner versions of the giant burgers you get at some places that you have to unhinge your jaw to eat. Perfectly fine for most, but not a smash burger with thin patties and the crust. Servers/bartenders are in no hurry, but maybe it’s just the time of day we’ve gone. Decent value, decent food.

AJ’s just opened about a week ago so I want to be careful here. The wings were good and meaty but I would have liked them crispier. Sauce was very good. Portions were solid. Good value. We had three different servers and there was only three of us. Thankfully they were all nice and smiling. The new owners did a nice job freshing up the place. I love how they converted the other side and there are now another 20-25 seats available. We definitely plan on going back soon and I will be sure to update my review.

My family and I couldn’t wait for AJ’s to open and we weren’t disappointed! We’ve already gone a few times and can tell there will be many more visits in our future- the food has been delicious each time we’ve been (HIGHLY recommend the smash burgers and the garlic parm wings!) and the staff was always attentive and accommodating (special shout out to Frankie behind the bar, she always made sure we had everything we needed!). The entire staff made us feel incredibly welcomed, this was especially appreciated eating as a family with young kids. Perfect spot for the entire family

Friday afternoon was my First Time in AJ’s Pub since it opened and I must say the food was Phenomenal! Everything was Great and the Owner AJ who I talked about the place Friday night when I went back was even Nicer he is a true gentleman and did a fantastic job fixing up the place and even told me a little about the place! The Bartenders were also very friendly and very nice! The one Bartender I had her name was Kayla and she was very nice and I had a nice conversation with her and the other Bartender who I apologize that I don’t know her name was also very personable and nice just like the owner and the other Bartender! Would Definitely give this place 5 out of 5 stars and would absolutely 100% Recommend this place to all of my friends who have not been here yet!

Loved the “North” sandwich. Staff was great. Service was great. Atmosphere was fantastic and food was amazing. It’s great to have elevated cuisine with a cozy and comfortable bar area outside of the city.
It’s a fun, fresh take on classic bar feel.
10/10 will be back
