AJ’s Pizza in Winter Garden was a great find; delicious pies and a fun atmosphere. We ordered a 10-inch gluten-free cauliflower crust Margherita pie, a New York–style pie, and the Hot Honey pie; everything was flavorful and satisfying. Their “pies” are pizzas, New York-style, and the gluten-free option was especially appreciated.
One important note; the Hot Honey is seriously spicy. If you can’t handle heat, don’t order it. Also, the restroom is unforgettable; gold interior including the toilet, plus a buzzer that triggers both the music and disco lights so you can dance to your favorite song. Great food, great vibe, and lots of personality.

Pizza was pretty good. Flavor and texture of ingredients were spot on. Wedidn’t really like our waitress passion for serving , but we were relieved when the managers came over to ask. How is everything. Other than that I would come back and try more of their pizza options. Cauliflower crust is available, but only at a certain size. The garlic knots were everything Crispy cheesy and freshly made. The aesthetics and decor is so much fun to take pictures with as well. Great place to go right in the heart of downtown with a garden.

We ordered delivery from AJ’s for the Super Bowl, and it did not disappoint. I think the Detroit-style pizza was the favorite over the New York–style, but either way, nothing was left of either pie, the garlic knots, or the meatballs. We’ll probably have to dine in next time since a lot of people say it has a fun atmosphere. In the meantime, AJ’s can say they came away with a win on Super Bowl Sunday.

The atmosphere is so awesome in here. I love the layout, definitely suited for smaller groups 2-3 ideal and 4 could work but might have a wait time. The decorations are well thought out and the overall design of this place is gorgeous with lots of detail everywhere. That doesn’t end in the bathroom with a super cool party button that lights up the bathroom and plays an array of different songs each time you press it. The owner is super kind. I will say the service when it comes is super kind, however I will say it is rather slow even when things are quiet. It did take a while to be checked on. Now the food is definitely good the pizza is a lot more cheese heavy thus can be over powering but it was still good.

The pizza was good, had nice flavors, the smell brought us in from the street, as we were on our way to a different restaurant, but the pizza oven was emanating out some delicious smells and it drew us in. The customer service was great, the atmosphere is quaint. About 40 individual barstool to sit at the counter. We enjoyed it and will be back

Great food and service! Walked in Sunday afternoon and there was no wait. Meatball trio was my favorite. Sauce was fantastic. Pizza was good! A lot of flavor and great for sharing. Would recommend as a pizza spot with a large group

What a delicious surprise! Friends had recommended AJ’s, but I was dubious, given the price point for a 14 or 18 inch pizza. So happy that I was proven wrong. My husband and I had two glasses of wine, shared a Caesar salad, and ate one piece each of a delicious and generously portioned Detroit-style pizza. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we purchased some gift certificates. Our server was warm, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and efficient. The manager came out in person to check on us, and she personally completed the transaction for the gift certificates. Classy. We will return soon, and in the meantime we have been devouring leftovers from the amply-sized pizza (as a cheese lover, I especially appreciated the crust on the Detroit-style pie, which included a lace “shell” of well cooked Italian cheese. A tasty touch!). Thanks, AJ’s!

So I was hungry for a pizza when we were riding our bikes through the area about a month ago and sat down and ordered a Sicilian style pizza with a good friend. It was one of the best Sicilian pizzas this side of the Bronx where I grew up…never expected that! The people were terrific and really into the entire process of making the dough and the sauce! So, my wife and my same friend went on a bike tour this time and stopped in for their regular cheese pie. Again, it was an incredible pie and a slice of heaven. The sauce and the cheese is amazing! I haven’t been to a better pizzeria in all of Florida. One in Tampa comes close. The manager is very involved! Can’t wait to go back again to try their Detroit style…

This was our aniversary, wonderful place to visit. They are very busy but the bar next to the oven was perfect . The crew and the manager were very kind and friendly. The flavors and the atmosphere were great. Good 80s music and the beer with pizza was exactly what we needed to party together ❤️ and celebrate

Nice pizza place. Had the Lombardi’s cheese pie, John’s pepperoni pie and a Caesar Salad. Everything was delicious. The sauce on the pizzas was tasty and on the robust side (which we enjoyed). The crust was crispy and tasted great. The Caesar salad was excellent as well. Our server Nick was on his game. Super attentive and made great recommendations. Will definitely be back!
