The food here is sooooo good. They have portion options which makes it very easy to find something to eat. The food is cooked to perfection, comes out promptly and is generally amazing. It’s a great local spot and frequently has live entertainment. The prices are reasonable, especially when you consider how much food you can get.

Was driving through town on a road trip. I’m from just outside of New Orleans and consider myself to be a bit snobby about cuisine as a result. I ordered the stuffed tots for an appetizer, and they were good, pretty standard for a bar and grill appetizer. My entree, the Crispy Bourbon Chicken & Bacon Sandwich, was phenomenal. The chicken was fried nice and juicy, the salty bacon was delicious when paired with the sweet and savory bourbon sauce. Speaking of which, the bourbon sauce was a definite highlight; the flavor was very unique, and for once I could actually catch the bourbon flavor in the sauce! The staff were very friendly, and informative about the menu, they even held the door open when we left! If you’re passing through Baker City, Oregon, I recommend grabbing a bite to eat here!!!

I had a fantastic experience at AJs Corner Brick Bar & Grill! I ordered the Hell Burger, and it was perfectly juicy with just the right amount of spice. My husband got the specialty burger, which was also incredibly flavorful. The staff was wonderful, especially with our baby—they were super friendly and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend this spot for great food and warm service!

I popped into Baker City with my boyfriend. We were craving some bar food, and chose to come here. When we got into the building, we were welcomed into a warm atmosphere with live music. The artist was AMAZING, and the customer service was flawless. On top of that, the food was wonderful (I got the Hells Canyon Burger, and my boyfriend had gotten the something Creek burger). The burgers here were HUGE!! You definitely get what you pay for. If we find ourselves drifting through again, we will be coming back.

The waitresses were attentive and quirky. We sat and enjoyed ourselves for longer than we should have but they didn’t complain and kept our drinks filled. The burgers were big and yummy. The drinks strong and tasty. Little disappointed they didn’t have orange slices for the blue moon.
They made up for it with orange juice. We will come back when we are back in town.

We came to eat at AJ’s tonight to celebrate a birthday. The birthday guy left extremely disappointed as well as the rest of us in the party. It took over an hour to get the pizza that was ordered. The rest of us had already got our food and was finished eating by the time the pizza arrived. The pizza dough was raw. We waited over an hour for a raw pizza. There were 3 waitresses on staff and they never once came to our table to check on us. We had to stop one of them (who was not our original waitress to ask for a refill on our drinks as well as extra napkins). My order was also messed up. I ordered a hog gobbler with no cream cheese add mayo and garlic fries. When my order came to the table I noticed I got regular fries. I let the waitress know I ordered garlic fries. When I got them back all that had changed was there was now just parmesan cheese sprinkled over them. Still no garlic. My sandwich also didn’t have mayo. I was not going to ask to send them back again.
Another order we had was blacked chicken pasta. The chicken was extremely dry. This experience was very disappointing. My fiance left without getting his birthday dinner.

Always love the food here. Can be a bit noisy as it’s a smaller place and can get crowded, but always a good time whenever we go out here. Great food and great drinks, great service. Jolene has done amazing!

I’ve never left a bad review in my life. This place was the most unorganized restaurant I’ve ever been to. Food was great. Service sucks! Such a cute little town, you’d think they’d be a little more cheerful and accommodating on the day of the Christmas parade. Never ever would I recommend or go back. Pretty sad really!

We saw this place on Google. Google said they didn’t open until 4pm. As we were walking by they were open!! A few years ago they got new owners and Google won’t change the time.
Anyways, what an absolute pleasant surprise!! The food was phenomenal! The prices were reasonable! The quality of the food was top notch. One of our party got the turkey pesto sandwich. She said it was the best sandwich she has ever had and would consider driving the 2 hours from home to have it again.
The side salad was huge and full of veggies!
Everyone loved the food! The service was some of the best we’ve had. The gal was super friendly and on top of it!!
We will definitely stop here again!
