Tried this place for the first time.
You seat yourself, server was prompt, food was out timely.
Quick observations:
Appetizer size is more for two people not more. (You can choose from a variety of dipping sauces, which we liked those options?
Italian beef was ok. Nothing stood out about it.
Garlic burger was ok, 3 patties was probably too much garlic. 1-2 patties would have been better probably (that was our bad by ordering the third patty.)
The pub burger (single) was not a favorite. I’d give that a 1-2 star max.
Loaded Waffle fries were meeehhh.
The do serve triple x root beer
At the time we arrived, there was a sign on the door about not serving beer (or something along those lines) no biggie, we were only there for the food. Someone might want to know in advance.
Over all, the place is clean, staff was friendly and prompt, food wasn’t what we were looking for.

I’ve lived in Lafayette for almost 7 years and always see everyone hyping up this restaurant. My friends from Ohio came to visit today and we tried AJs. 5/5 stars so totally worth the hype.
It was clean. Chill atmosphere. Visited around 4 and I forget the waiters name but he was terrific and kept offering refills and being super acknowledging of us and friendly.
I got a double breakfast burger and loaded fries. DELICIOUS. everything was fresh and enjoyable.

The food here is amazing! We are from Chicago and this place has the beat beef sandwiches we’ve had since we moved out here….the fries are really good too! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Great place close to Purdue University. Food was mostly fried food which my stomach couldn’t handle. But college students were packing the place, so it must be great for those who can’t tolerate fried foods. Did have burgers, too

This place is so amazing. The owner is also amazing my son’s name is AJ and he heard it he came to table said hi and gave my son a shirt and sticker. He made my sons night. We will be going back just not on a Wednesday because of triva night.
