The owner, Alicia, always helps us quickly, is knowledgeable about where her meats come from (which i appreciate) and if I call ahead to make sure she has what I need, she sets it aside for me! Very passionate about food and making sure customers have what they like and need.

The staff was amazing. I was in there to grab some food for my trip back to Pittsburgh, The Asiago risotto was outstanding. The person who waited on me was nice, charismatic, and knowledgeable about everything. I will try to stop in every chance I get!

During a quick visit, there was a woman working that was openly berrating a staff member over something silly. It was really sad to witness, and I’d prefer not to support a business so comfortable with this type of behavior. Friendly towards customers, but that means nothing if you are demeaning to your staff.

Absolutely love the food from AJ’s! I can always count on a delicious meal at a great price! Consistent rotation of food but also lots of regular options to keep you coming back for more! Everything is delicious from the prepared meals to the dips and soups and the absolute best rib eye in town!

Rude staff. The mediocre food isn’t worth the price. There are much better places to get food in Lancaster from businesses that don’t cause problems in the community for the sake of it, so don’t waste your time here. Remember; this town is very small and everyone talks, so a little kindness goes a long way! 🙂

Demeaning to potential customers – seriously problematic owner. Food is meh as well, at least what I had. I would have gone again and tried something else at something, but after what she did I definitely will not be back and neither should you.
Bottom line, there are much better places to get prepared food from in Lancaster and much better community members who run businesses in the city to patronize.

I’ve been here multiple times as I grew up in the area and the food and service were bad every time. I really wouldn’t recommend this place, especially when there are so many other better restaurants in the area.
