Simple cooking, need something quick this is the place. Food is good and the staff is very nice. I would categorize this as a traditional greasy spoon hole in the wall place. Again, good food and simple. Sausage is awesome!

Authentic home country cooking. Kristin and I stopped in for a late breakfast where we were greeted by Jesica, our friendly waitress from the back country. They were very busy, but even so we were seated right away, and our coffee was served hot. Kristin had the French toast and I had the meat lovers omelette, both were hot and delicious and the atmosphere didn’t seem to make the wait too long, I’ll come back when I’m in Huntingdon again

Very, very busy place and they don’t hurry you. Breakfast was good, another french omelette, I need to move back up north. My wife’s a bad cook and she makes a better omelette than a French omelette.

I stopped in at AJ’s by chance while on a wandering road trip after church on a Sunday morning.
This place was great! The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. Service was polite and very fast. I almost felt like I was intruding because most folks were clearly regulars and knew each other – which added to the charm!
I had the pork tenderloin breakfast, and it was delicious! The eggs were perfectly cooked as was everything else. The coffee was great as well.
Thanks for having me today, and I hope this review encourages everyone passing through to stop at AJ’s for a meal!

2 snippy RUDE waitresses are just ruining the whole atmosphere of what used to be our favorite place to eat in Huntingdon, Tn. We are from Texas we always come to Tennessee for Thanksgiving. We were warned of both a decline in service and food quality by several of the locals when we tried to invite them to breakfast there. We payed no mind. It was really a shock to find such bad behavior in this little mom & pop diner. We ordered, but the waitress was so rude to us (3 senior citizens ranging in age from 65 to 82 yrs. old). We just told her to cancel our order and we left. So sad.

I’ve tried the breakfast many times and always same result. Dry eggs, potatoes and anything else I order. Wish there was a better option in Huntingdon.

If you could take grandmas 1970 house kitchen , enlarge it a bit and make it a diner, that’s this place, the feel, the people, the food, about as home cooked as I’ve ever had. Absolutely love it
