What a GENIUS concept!! You wouldn’t expect such quality sushi from a subway, chipotle like service.
The attached Daiquiri bar is a plus as well!
Actually met the owner at the daiquiri place who owns both places and he told me about how it all started. Great story.
Somebody needs to franchise this thing like yesterday!!!

I like the idea of building your own sushi. Staff were friendly and the whole place has a good ambiance.
For my taste, the sushi was ok. I have had better. I didn’t like that the seaweed was on the outside of the role. I prefer the rice outside. Tastes better to me like that.
Also not my taste is the fried rice. I’ve had much better flavored fried rice. Again, it’s not horrible, it’s my preference in taste.
I don’t think I will be returning because of my personal taste.

Went to get some sushi and was met with very rude service, one lady was asked to heat up the dumplings that was requested and her exact response was “I ain’t doing that”. Very unprofessional service and everyone seemed mad to be doing their job. I don’t want to feel stressed out or like I’m making someone mad when I’m just trying to order some food and they work at a resturaunt…..

Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very sweet and accommodating staff, ver friendly.
Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️
The place was very messy behind the counter. The restaurant could use a sweep and mop to say the lease. ALL the tables were dirty even though the restaurant was empty.
Taste ⭐️⭐️
Some of the worst I’ve ever tasted. Their seaweed nori paper was rubbery and their rice was overly vinegary. I really tied to eat us but couldn’t, it was bad. The friend rice was decent, but it tasted super greasy like they poured a bunch of sesame oil in it. The dumplings LOOKED amazing but unfortunately no taste!
I wanted to like this place, save your money!

I really enjoyed my first time at Ajian Sushi! It’s a make-your-own sushi similar to a subway or chipotle style of “design your own food” restaurant.
The staff were nice, but they were pretty slow, and I waited in line for about 10 minutes before being served.
The food was affordable and tasted good.

Stopped at 8:30 tonight to get sushi, when I got there, there was at least 10 people waiting outside. The girl inside working had locked the door and refused service to all of us just because they “felt like closing early”. Another customer recorded the interaction including the employees inside laughing about closing early and refusing service to all 10+ people. Absolutely absurd. The closing time is advertised as 9 PM. NOT 8:30.
