We were a party of 7 and we stopped by on our way back home from Reno around a Sunday 1:30pm. Restaurant was not busy so we were able to be seated immediately. Staff were friendly and helpful. They explained how the buffet worked and what’s included in the regular price. We had all sort of sushi as well as chicken karaage and tempura. All were good. Some items were additional cost like sashimi and a few other items.

In a nutshell; Been a pleasant experience each time, and won’t mind going back again.

Isnt in most best of places but it’s better inside than outside. There’s plenty of parking out so did not seem to be an issue whenever I come around here. Sushi isn’t the most top tier but for an all you can eat, it’s definitely on the better end. Servers were accommodating and nice. Was even given free ice cream for my birthday visit which I appreciate. Plenty of choices of sushi on their menu to choose from. All you can eat is definitely worth it and won’t really burn a hole in your pocket. Overall really good stuff.

To be honest, the sushi at this restaurant just didn’t taste good to me. The flavor was not there. Most of it tasted the same, and a lot of the rolls looked like California rolls with different sauces on top. I was there with three friends, and after we ate, I asked them what they thought—some of them felt the same way.

On the bright side, they had a small salad bar with edamame, which I really liked. The ginger and wasabi were really good. At the end of the meal, we had ice cream. I went with chocolate, which was good! My friends had the green tea flavor, but they weren’t fans—they said it didn’t have much flavor.

I started wondering if maybe I was being too picky about Aji Sushi, but honestly, I’ve had a lot of sushi in different places, and usually, the first few bites tell you if it’s going to be great. This just wasn’t it for me.

Fresh, tasty all you can eat sushi.. at affordable prices.. We ordered ended up taking our second serving to go. The 3 of us were sushi wasted after the first go round.

Never checked in on us, food was delicious as always never disappoints. They told us when we got here we had until 2 30 for last call, we were sat at 1:55 and the first round didn’t hit our table until 2:22, so we had 8 minutes to place our 2 and 3 round orders. I have never had sushi from here take that long to make it to the table. Still love this place for affordability and food, service was just lacking this time.

I have been going to this restaurant for more than 10 years now. It is the best AYCE sushi place around! The staff treats you like you treat them!!!!! Never ever had a problem. Be kind people, it goes a long way. The rolls are fresh and have more fish less rice ratio. If your not sure what you want ask the staff, they will gladly help you. Hint” ask the chef, he likes to sparkle ✨️ “!!

Today was a very busy day, and we did wait a little longer for our food, but the quality never disappoints. The sushi here always tastes amazing, no matter the time or day. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I’m only leaving a review because it feels wrong not to share something this good. If you love sushi, you need to come here.

Great spot right of I-80 with amazing prices for decent quality sushi and food. My partner got AYCE dinner for $31 and I enjoyed a bento box that had everything I wanted in it for only $14 and I still had leftovers! My partner accidentally ordered one two many rolls and we took them up on their mercy option for AYCE to take those leftovers home in a box for only an extra $6. Kind, very attentive staff and comfortable atmosphere with happy pop hits in the background.

Will definitely be making this a regular stop on the way back to the Bay from Tahoe!

Atmosphere is awkward. The service lacks enthusiasm, almost as if they don’t want to be there. You say thank you, they don’t say anything. They drop off the rolls, they don’t say anything. Twice we ordered and got something completely different, but it was uncomfortable to bring it to their attention because you felt like a burden being there, on top of that we waited forever for our 2 rounds we did. The food is meh at best. Nigiri came out room temperature, but the fried food came out hot and fresh. We gave this place a try, and will not be recommending nor will we be back.

Enjoyed my experience. Went during lunch and it was only roughly $23 or $24 for AYCE per person. Say what? They have limited for AYCE types of rolls compared to jjst buying from menu but they were still very delish. Some rolls come in 6-8 pieces tho…so it doesn’t allow you to try too many…otherwise you won’t be able to finish.

We actually didn’t finish our rolls between 2 people. Lol our mind was more hungry than our stomach. But overall very good and I like the proportion of rice on each roll. Not too much. I did buy an additional $5 for the 2 salmon w/roe on top of crab…(immitation crab?) It was delicious though with the salmon. Can’t wait to go back.
