This place is located inside a shopping plaza with lots of parking.
When you come in they have booth and chairs. Pepsi products along with inka cola.
The staff isn’t friendly at all, i expected this as I was reading the reviews prior to even coming here. They treat you as if they are doing you a favor by you coming here and eating.
We ordered:
Chicharron de pescado (appetizer) pieces of fried fish, yucca, salsa criolla
Tallarines huancaina with grilled chicken and it came with a few pieces of boiled potatoes.
Lomo saltado comes with rice
Side order of french fries (they are homemade which is a huge perk!)
Side of salsa criolla
The food was made to order everything was good, however the tallarines lacked flavor, everything else was good.
They brought out their aji, ketchup, mayo for condiments.
Now worth noting…..
THE BATHROOMS ARE DISGUSTING – the bathrooms are telling of what their kitchen looks like: it was such a HUGE disappointment of how disgusting and dirty their bathrooms are. I have also attached pics of how dirty bathrooms are.
I have been to many other bathrooms at Peruvian Rico restaurants but this one takes the dirtiest one of all hence the rating.
Food is good, bathrooms and service are horrendous.

Pretty empty when I had stopped by here. Food was good. I wouldn’t say it was astonishing, but it was still good! I think I would try other dishes the next time I’m in town. Service was just okay.

Almost didn’t come due to the reviews, but gave it a shot and it was SO worth it! My husband is Peruvian and in Utah it is hard to find good authentic restaurants. Reviews regarding misleading portions are false as the menu shows, and the “automatic” gratuity is disclosed on a sign for customers to see. Not sure why you wouldn’t tip such a kind staff in the first place. There were only 2 employees on shift and we got our 2 appetizers very quickly, and soon after the rest of our food. This place is worth giving a try, and we will definitely be back!

I’ve never had Peruvian food before but I enjoyed it! The rotisserie chicken was cooked deliciously and I liked the fried rice! The staff was friendly too

The server did a great job despite being the only waitress with a restaurant full of more than 50 people. She was serving, busing tables, cleaning floors, and was quick to bring our food. She deserves a big tip.
The passion fruit pitcher was very well priced.
The restaurant was very understaffed.
The lomo saltado and Yuka and cow heart were good.
The ceviche was VERY watered down, almost no taste of lime.

The food here is delicious. The chicken is amazing. The rice is flavorful. It comes out hot and the presentation is nice. Their dishes are well made and tasty. It’s a little pricey. I got the lunch special (see photos) and the price was good. Glad to have peruvian food near by for sure!
Where they lose a star with me is the customer service. They seem to always have ONE server for the entire restaurant. Not super friendly and makes you feel like your bothering them by ordering or not ordering fast enough. Lol. The food is delicious and I know in advance that’s how it is, so I keep coming back. Hope this was helpful.

The server ladies were very nice although they don’t speak English well, we just pointed to the menu and they took care of us. The food was amazing, the meat taste fresh and the the dishes were all very flavorful. The menu has a lot of options to cover a lot of appetites, we ordered too much and brought some home for leftovers.

I’ve never had Peruvian food before, it was so delicious!! I had steak and green noodles. The steak was nicely marinated and the noodles had a creamy sauce on them that had somewhat of a pesto flavor. I am definitely going to eat there again! I highly recommend trying it out.

Great food! Get the Anticuchos and lomo saltado. The mixed seafood plate is great as well. The house special with all the meats is delicious. For dessert try an alfajor.

Pollo a la brasa was SO GOOD. The outside marinade was full of flavor, but I can’t recommend the French fries… very large and in-charge, but our batch was slightly undercooked.
Still the best Peruvian we’ve had in Utah!
