WOW!!! Easily the best hibachi that I have ever had — in terms of food, service, and atmosphere. The owner made us incredible $8 cocktails and a hot passionfruit tea as we had just come in from the cold. This is also the most vegetarian friendly hibachi restaurant I have ever been to: I ordered vegetarian and my boyfriend ordered steak, and our chef actually prepared my vegetables entirely before the meat to ensure there was no cross contact — which I greatly appreciated as not every restaurant is so considerate! They also let me know what was in each side dish as they brought them out to make sure I knew if I could eat them. The tofu was fresh and tender and downright incredible. My bf said the steak was amazing as well. We are naturally chatty people and love to socialize, so we had great conversations with everyone working there — everyone was super kind and knowledgeable about the history of the 150+ year old building. Delicious food, highly recommend — I am sure I will be back for dinners and drinks alike.

I know it is frustrating to work during holidays, but seriously, why, why cold food? It was COLD! And I had to get the waitress to get the food back to the kitchen, they came back with a hot plate, ok you warmed my food with microwave and made the rice became too hard. But what’s more frustrating is that, my friend ordered steak and shrimp (it was not cheap at all), the waitress carefully asked how my friend wanted the steak and my friend surely told her she wanted medium rare. Again, MEDIUM RARE, but when the waitress walked out, the steak was like it went through hell before it was sent to our plate, it was DARK! The salad and chicken were good tho.

So happy for the business owners to finally get there other half of the restaurant open. (Fyi: please reserve in advance for hibachi table experience) Hostess was timely and detailed. Cook was entertaining and fun to talk to. Our guests loved everything. We where a group of 6 and everyone enjoyed it. There passion fruit hot tea is a must especially after a full stomach. Clean plate clubs all around. Will definitely be returning.

We had the best time here. The service was amazing. We had hibachi which was a blast, and the filet mignon was so tasty! And they even have a karaoke set up! They also brought us some dessert when they found out we just got married. Highly recommend and shoutout to Emma, Doris, and Bla for taking such good care of us!

My wife and I headed into this wonderful restaurant (it is in the same building where Washington Platform made it happen back in the day) after picking up Halloween candy next-door at Peter Minges & Sons. There were only a few other diners there, so we were seating immediately and it gave us an opportunity to strike up a conversation with the waitress, Doris. We learned that not only was she our waitress, but she and her husband own the restaurant. She is just lovely. She told us about the hibachi tables they were building in the space next-door and showed us the progress they have made. It looks amazing. See attached video.
I had the filet mignon hibachi and my wife had the chicken hibachi. Both dishes were superlative. In fact, the food was so good that we made reservations to take the whole family there for Christmas Eve dinner and enjoy the hibachi which I believe is opening up in the first week of December 2025.
I’ve read some of the other reviews with people complaining about a gratuity added. And that there was no notice of that. Perhaps those reviews were posted before restaurant put notices up, but it is clearly posted on their menus. And frankly, I think it’s a way for restaurant owners to protect themselves from people who don’t tip. Sad to say – but unfortunately – there are people who do not tip.
In any event, we will be back. And giving this excellent restaurant our continuing support.

This place was incredible! We had a large group and they were very accommodating. The hibachi chef was fantastic and the owners let us do karaoke until after it was closed. Amazing experience, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Hands down the best Hibachi I’ve ever had! i got the shrimp and scallop plate and it was AMAZING! The staff was so kind and welcoming, the owner sat me right away. I will definitely be coming back.

Such a beautiful family friendly atmosphere! I will definitely be back! I had the shrimp, steak & chicken fried rice; it was bursting with flavor! The house margaritas were also phenomenal!! What a good time! 10/10 ❤️

We brought a large party They seated us early and treated us like family. The food was delicious. Everyone loved it from the four year old to the 84 year old! Great food and an awesome time! We will be back soon.
