I paid almost $20 for the Salmon Lover combo and honestly felt ripped off. I understand inflation and rising food costs, I really do, but this was just too much money for what you get. The sushi barely had any rice and the salmon pieces were tiny. I am not exaggerating when I say the rice portion was maybe a tablespoon. The picture shows exactly what it came with. At the very least, give people more rice.

What made it worse was that a whole side of the container was filled with ginger, a flower, and a green leaf garnish instead of actual sushi. I would much rather have bigger pieces of fish and rice than decorative filler.

The fried rice was also a huge disappointment. The rice was hard, dry, and completely flavorless. It did not taste like fried rice at all. The rice felt like it was par boiled and it wasn’t even the right kind of rice. Why is it pale and puffy? I honestly could not figure out what happened there.

This is especially frustrating because years ago this place used to be really good. The quality and flavor just are not there anymore.

Great place to go and good parking right across the street for 25 cents an hour.

I had lunch special and it was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in jersey, I ordered chicken wings and fried rice lunch specials and got 3 wings fried extra hard, didn’t ask for that plus (usually it 4 and u get a soda ) just 3 wings and rice and some bottom of the barrel rice with some brown coloring

Best Asian food I’ve had in a long time! The boneless spare ribs are incredible and the coconut shrimp is amazing. Even the white rice has a delicious jasmine flavor. I tried a couple pieces of my friend’s sushi (which I’m usually not into) and it was so good that I’m definitely getting it next time. I can’t believe I live right in town and I’m just now discovering this gem!

As a new resident in town, I really wanted to like this place. But the prices do not match up to the quantity or quality of the food, especially the Japanese food. Bento box was full of rice and super bland, special sushi roll was SO expensive for what it was. In my opinion, they need to just be good at making one kind of food. Sadly I’m gonna have to drive to another town for good Asian food

This restaurant is just great! From the moment I walked in the door the customer service was so welcoming. I ordered a sushi eel roll and a beef Ramen soup sooo delicious The sushi was so fresh, and flavorful. The Raman soup was so BIG and full of delicious seasoned beef, ramen noodles, corn, cilantro, and appetite quenching broth. I also ordered a coconut bubble tao tea to go… Oh
my deliciousness. I was SOOOOO CONTENT Today Can’t wait to go back.

Ok lemme start by saying we used to frequent the original Aji that was on the corner down the block a few times a month for about 7-10 years. Their food was amazingggg! Unfortunately after covid they moved here and the food just keeps getting worse. The atmosphere is dark and gloomy and unfriendly service but just being an optimist we keep trying hoping they’ll go back to how good they used to be. I have to say tonight is the last time we will ever eat there. A simple shrimp fried rice isn’t even made properly, barely any sesame oil, no carrots, no peas, no eggs, maybe found like a little piece of an onion. It was horrible. The general tso chicken was so dry put it on top of white rice and there was no sauce to be seen even on the rice. The cream cheese wontons which used to have crab meat in them now it’s just a block of cream cheese no onions/chives, no flavor nothing. Horrible. Farewell Aji.

We have been ordering from here for years. Since the other place in town closed down, this place has slowly degraded the quality of what they put out. I started driving to other towns to get better quality and I found it. I didn’t feel like driving this time so I thought I would give it another go. It is actually worse. I am not saying it is inedible but the fried rice tastes like it is being made with parboiled rice. This is not a good thing. It might save time but it is a staple and tastes low quality. The egg rolls and fried foods are super oily and again tastes like something made somewhere else and then finished for your order. The price goes up but the quality goes down. If I am going to eat food that isn’t good for me, I at least want it to taste good. I hope this helps change something about the food production because the people are pretty nice but food quality should not be overlooked. Just because you are the only game in town doesn’t mean you are the only game.

Ordered the general tso’s lunch special with an almond milk coconut taro tea. Rice was nice and fluffy. Carrots and peas in it were soft and good. Onions were a bit undercooked but okay. The meat was more like orange chicken. Too sweet and no heat. The drink was good. Thick with a strong coconut flavor. The black tapioca pearls were soft, and sweet.

My family’s been going here for years, even before the change in location. I’m a pretty picky person, but I’ve been really loving the food lately when I try it recently. The udon and dumplings are amazing. I would kill a man for these dumplings. The milk tea is great too. The workers are nice and polite and it is cozy inside, though when it comes to food modifications, they’re a bit iffy. Its okay though. Very good. Thank you ❤️
