Overall quality establishment. Every time I walk into to a sushi place should put at least 5-10-20 bucks in the tip jar for the sushi guys(make sure they see you do it ;)) and if your like me and order sashimi ask what’s fresh for the day don’t be scared. Listen, if stop and shop received tuna THAT day it will be fresher than any place that got it days prior, zero reference to any restaurant etc just facts. ENJOY ! The bar is great too !!!

Grabbed lunch at the bar with my wife. We both got the lunch special which was a great deal. Enjoyed a side of seaweed salad and 3 different rolls. Shout out to the best house salad with ginger dressing that came with the lunch special. Nice and fresh and the best ginger dressing I’ve had.

Tried this restaurant on the spur of the moment as my usual go to place was closed. The restaurant is beautifully modern with elegant lighting and decor. The service was quick and the servers anticipated our needs. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. It was presented beautifully and there was plenty of it! They even surprised me with a fried ice cream dessert with a candle in it for my birthday! Aji 53 was amazing all around from the moment we walked into the door until we left. The hostess, waitress, ambiance, food and presentation were impeccable! Everyone in my group had sushi, and I had the salmon teriyaki. Endings raved about their meals and cocktails. We’ll definitely be back!

Better than Kotobuki in my opinion. The staff works so hard and they are so friendly. I highly recommend the shrimp and vegetable tempura appetizer and the warm spinach salad.

This place was kind of a let down. There are a lot of places like this that do it much better. First off my wife asked to substitute fried rice for the brown rice her dinner came with and they told her no, which…why? Then our meals came with soup or salad where literally every other place gives you both. I got the bento box chicken teriyaki which usually when I get it I nearly explode from all the food whereas this barely filled me up at all. The food itself was disappointing as well. Again not bad but I’ve definitely had better. The miso soup was good I’ll give it that. The wine prices were also absurd. Won’t come back here, as I said before there are a ton of places that do it better.

Upscale modern decor without the upscale prices. Sushi rolls were decent. The waiter was very attentive. Asked how we were doing multiple times and refilled my green tea 4 times.

Good food, nice atmosphere. Minus one star for the biggest salad plate for 6 pieces of lettuce. Its ok to bring a smaller plate. A little pricey for a Sunday lunch.

Strikes me as a 5 star NYC sushi place. Everything immaculate from baths to food. Had two rolls and squash lobster soup. Holds my highest recommendation!
