Have been to this restaurant a few times and have enjoyed its food and atmosphere. Tonight my husband and I both got the ribeye steak. Positively the worse we’ve ever had! So bad we are both convinced it wasn’t even beef! I just couldn’t keep it and not return it. From the moment I tried to cut into it I knew it was bad. But worse couldn’t chew the meat. I should’ve just declined when the waitress offered another choice of meat. I accepted the NY steak which wasn’t much better. My poor husband being more passive just tried eating the meat. There are other good items on the menu. I don’t recommend any of their steaks! There is a meat market where we bought some ribeye steaks that were the same. Horse meat! I do want to say I have had delicious ribeye steaks in Rosarito. Definitely not here!

The food is very flavorful. The interior of the restaurant is French inspired. The chef is Cordon Bleu trained. The service is really good. They have a nice wine selection. My favorite adult drink is an anise flavored liquor. I order a mix of sweet and dry.

I do personally recommend the shrimp tamal and the Caesars salad. Salmon was flavorless, so you need to choose your meal correctly.

The food has good flavor. The menu has many options to select. We ordered the chicken quinoa salad and it was delicious. We had a great time, great service and great atmosphere. Our drinks were okay, we ordered a mojito, which was okay, not the best. Good place and reasonable prices overall.

Excellent wine by the glass from Chile(Cab and Carmenere blend, at a good price point.
I ordered the Oso Bucco with risotto. It came with perfectly cooked veggies too. Excellent! At $25 was a great price.
Apparently the chef is Cordon Bleu trained. Tastes like it.

Asked for medium rare ribeye and received rare. Very expensive place to dine and service is subpar. Food took 40 minutes to come out. We didn’t finish the food and found a taco place down the road. 6 tacos 11 dollars and they were delicious. For 2 people we spent 116 dollars plus 9 dollar tip. 125. Felt robbed. Ribeye plate plus salmon plate. 2 palomas and a coke. Side order of tortillas and avocado. Stay away from this mediocre restaurant. Waitress didn’t check on us. Promised bread sticks and never delivered.

We were forced to choose from their more expensive options, which didn’t even seem traditionally Mexican. We ordered ribeye and salmon. The food took over 40 minutes to arrive, and when it did, the meat was almost inedible. To make matters worse, they didn’t even have hot sauce or enough tortillas.
For a pregnant woman with cravings, this experience was especially disappointing. The bill was $125, which felt outrageous considering we left still hungry. Afterwards, we found a taco stand and spent only $10 on delicious food. If you want a truly satisfying Mexican meal, go to Karnes en su Jugo instead.
