Really nice food and a very clean place. The restaurant is spotless and well organized, which immediately makes a great impression. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I tried the sushi burrito and it was very nice — flavorful, filling, and made with quality ingredients. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. A great spot in Amherst if you’re looking for fresh, tasty food. I would definitely come back.

Really good little poke place with thoughtful friendly staff. Lots of options for customization and easy to follow bowl building process. The shitake mushrooms are soooooo good and so if the mushroom roll. The fish is fresh and there are fun options like watermelon raddish and a green tea and coconut milk rice that was very good. Nice selection of ito en teas as well. The stsff were very friendly and helped me bag my food for my walk back to my hotel.

Our family has owned a family-run restaurant for over 35 years, and I respect A&J Poke’s high quality, cleanliness, attention to details, and great work ethic to maintain their high standards. Food is far afield from Buffalo fare. So expect something different. It was my first time at any Pacific Islander restaurant. Hints of other cultures. Everything is prepared well, the woman behind the counter was helpful. If you’re not a seafood person the place will be lost on you. But the possible combinations of flavors are pretty wild, so that’s unique. Biggest downside is the portions. A medium is the right size for a grown man. Small is for my 80 year old mother.

Phenomenal poke bowl! Love that you can customize and be as traditional or wild as you want to be. Incredibly fresh and flavorful! Tons of options and a great place to eat the rainbow. The 3 protein bowls are huge and so reasonably priced. Husband got a poke burrito and the Mexican Roll – everything absolutely delicious! Impeccably clean inside and the owners are super sweet and even gave us a little tea mug as a thanks for our order! Will definitely be a regular customer!

Poke bowls are very good and tasty but the burritos are way too small for it to be an actual poke burrito. It’s the same price as a poke bowl and they didn’t put the two proteins I asked for in it because the seaweed wrap itself is very small.
I’d kindly ask the store to have bigger seaweed wrap and actually put two proteins in the burritos!

This is one of our favorite local restaurants. My son loves the ramen which is always hot, delicious and great portions. My husband and I are huge fans of the poke bowls. Everything is always fresh and delicious. It is one place we can all always agree on and everyone is happy afterwards. The family that owns it are wonderful and always provide excellent service!

Amazingly fresh sushi and poke bowls. Highly recommend!!! You won’t be sorry. The food was tasty and fresh, service was friendly and timely. The prices are also very reasonable and portions are generous. Mostly set up for to go orders, but there couple of tables. We dinned in and were comfortable. The owners learned we were visiting the Niagara Falls and gave us a cute little cup as a gift. Great food and wonderful service! Make sure you check it out.

A&J Poke was bright, clean, and inviting. The staff was friendly and helped me when I couldn’t decide on which bowl to get. I got the Spicy Salmon signature bowl which was delicious and flavorful. We can’t wait to go back and try more options on the menu. We’ll definitely be back soon for a fresh meal on a Summer’s afternoon.

Highly recommend this place! The sushi and poke are fresh and delicious! Service is quick, and the dining area is bright and clean. It might get overlooked a bit because it’s at the end of the plaza, but do not miss for casual dining or take out.
