Atmosphere – piano too loud. Muffle it a bit. Pianist was exceptional. Service – very good. The guy was hustling and very attentive.

Food – garlic knots had so much garlic they were inedible. Calzone…not really a calzone. Who so many sun dried tomatoes…wait…was supposed to be a pepperoni calzone. Then the waiter brought another, the balls of cheese were cold, pepperoni on bottom was uncooked and cold. Way too many diced tomatoes and sun dried tomatoes made the whole ‘calzone’ wet and cold. Chef does not understand proportions nor cooking temps. Then the server recommends a pepperoni pizza. This was pretty good.

They need to be more attentive to their food. Why would the kitchen put the server through such frustration?

I can tell the general manager is not paying much attention.

I had a very nice waiter named Duran! He was polite and helpful . I found out that he is originally from Cleveland Ohio and I am also originally from Northeast Ohio! I enjoyed the live jazz music while I was dining! The pizza thin crust and dough were delicious and I ordered the veggie pizza which is very good and I ordered the house salad with the arugula lettuce and spring mix. The arugula goes well with the pizza . Duran also brought me a side of basil and that also went well with the pizza ! If you are ever at the Atlanta airport I recommend that you stop by Varasano’s Italian pizza Restaurant! I think you will enjoy it !

My girlfriend and I recently stopped by Varasano’s Pizzeria before our flight out of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and I’m glad we did. We travel and fly often and love good pizza, but this was our first time dining at this particular airport location.

Duran H was our server, and he made the experience even better. He was pleasant, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and easy on the eyes ☺️. We asked several questions about different dishes, and he answered quickly and confidently. You can tell he knows the food and takes pride in what he does.

The atmosphere in that area of the airport is always enjoyable. We’ve previously eaten at Chick-fil-A and the hamburger spot next door, so we’re very familiar with the vibe. The sound of the piano playing in the background adds a nice touch, and the view is interesting—especially watching the airport employees, mainly the Delta Air Lines crews, moving with precision. Sitting there, you gain a deeper appreciation for how hard they work to keep everything running smoothly.

As far as pricing, my girlfriend and I usually share a meal, which keeps things reasonable for us. Our total was just under $27 for the Nucci Pizza and waters. For airport dining, that felt fair—especially for the quality.

If you’re passing through Atlanta and want something better than the usual grab-and-go, I’d definitely recommend trying Varasano’s for yourself.

The service and pizza were top notch. My flight was in a different terminal and I came here for the pizza -it did not disappoint. Destini and Lena gave awesome service! Highly recommend if you have time (or don’t- service is quick!)

This piano bar/pizza Italian place is over the top. If you have an opportunity to stop here while you’re in Atlanta, it is a must. The wine selection was vast, and the pizza was truly authentic.
Thanks, Taylor, on the piano, is a great showman and a great musician. Krystal, the server, deserves an award for server of the year. She performed her job with such grace in the midst of being understaffed and running in fifth gear the whole time. I truly appreciate such amazing service and wonderful atmosphere.

I went here before boarding a late flight. I can’t eat dairy but I asked for no cheese. This is my favorite pizza now! The crust was super thin but not dried out or hard. The veggies were perfectly roasted. The service was also excellent and very accommodating. It will be my new Hartsfield-Jackson go to!

Stopped at Varasano’s in the Atlanta airport and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The thin-crust pizza was excellent—exactly the style we love—and the garlic knots were a perfect add-on. Everything came out hot and fresh, and we were in and out in about 35 minutes, which is impressive for an airport stop.

A big shout-out to our server, Diaza B. She was kind, pleasant, and very attentive, making the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable despite the airport rush.

We also really appreciated that Varasano’s has reserved seating just for their restaurant, which helped it feel like a proper sit-down spot rather than just another food hall table. It made the experience feel more intentional and comfortable. The Piano player was a nice addition during the time we were here.

Highly recommend if you’re passing through ATL and want quality pizza without the stress or long wait.
