Linda is an absolute sweetheart once you get to know her. This was literally the best food I’ve had, ever. If you’re super sensitive and weak hearted then you might think she is tough. But if you just wait a moment, you’ll find out she is awesome and a great cook!

The owner was ridiculously rude. We ended up not staying to try the food because she made us so uncomfortable. Thanked her for her service and offered to pay for the coffee but she responded by asking us if we were from California (which we are not). Highly recommend against going here, especially if you are looking for a relaxing morning on your day off from work.

Really nice food and its because of the cook Linda. You can tell that put her heart in cooking. Might take time and totally worth the wait. The kitchen itself is located inside the airport building and no major markings. A small country road needs to be taken to reach there.

A great surprise! They don’t have a veggie burger on the menu, but Linda made me a savory veggie sandwich on a bun that surpassed expectations. My partner had the garden salad and cleared his plate (he wished he’d gotten my sandwich, though).

Alamogordo’s best kept secret. The Magic Burger and the Green Chili Stew is to die for! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Linda does it all and is always fun to chat with! If you’re looking for great food and not in a rush please try this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

Linda makes by FAR the best green chili cheeseburger in the state and for sure locally. I’ve tried the Owl, the Outpost and the Buckhorn and they all pale in comparison to Linda’s daily fare. Definitely a must try when in Alamogordo!
