Great little spot at the Grimes Airport. Pictured BBQ tower hamburger w/ onion rings, potato and cheese soup and a Chicken Cesaer wrap.

Coming here after many years felt just like coming home again. This place has not lost the magic nor the atmosphere. A simple comfort food menu served with hospitality and the view of the flight line. Who could ask for more. If only it were a sunny day I could imagine a b-25 taxiing down the runway! Stop in at the museum nearby for an extra treat!

Food was good, normal diner fare. And the setting is awesome in a totally genuine way, not at all retro or themed.

Fun dining experience. There plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You can watch planes taxiing, taking off, and landing. Comfort food with a view. The staff was friendly and checked in often. Very cool location and facility.

A nice little cafe known for their breakfast & lunch. Service is always friendly, the place can be packed on Sundays. On a recent visit I enjoyed the special of the day – prime rib with mashed potatoes, broccoli and a side salad. My wife ordered the taco salad. I will say, their salad portions are very generous, I may need to try the chef salad next time. Prime rib was tasty, I ordered it rare, it may have been slightly done more than rare, but not complaints. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite, you won’t regret it.

This was my third time here with kids and family. My turkey club was good and as expected. However the burgers we had didn’t smell like a burger or that they even touched the grill. Very very disappointing and for a $40 dollar meal it was not up to par at all.
Our waiter left after we put our food in and after that no one even checked on us.

You could come here just for the cinnamon rolls and be happy! This is one of our favorite spots anyway, but this is the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had: homemade dough & cream cheese frosting. Make sure you have a friend (or 2!) to share with.

Had the opportunity to stop in for lunch. I ordered the roast beef hot shot. It comes with bread, mashed potatoes and covered in gravy plus two sides. I choose the beets and coleslaw. All this for $8.99 is that value or what. The beef is tender and seasoned well. Potatoes tasted home made. Excellent gravy. The beets and coleslaw were top notch. My spouse got the grilled bologna sandwich with grilled onions, also very good. We also got black raspberry pie to take home. Delicious with the right balance of tart and sweet. The pie goes fast. Service was good as usual. Check them out the next time you are in town.
