We went to Aioli on Friday evening. The place was full with people waiting to get in.
Aioli has very much a small town cafe vibe to it. The decor is slightly out dated but it doesnt stop clients from coming back.
The food is very good for the price. And the portions are generous. We ordered the dumplings and the Gluten Free bisque followed by the fish and chips and the GF Shrimp mac and cheese.
The kitchen was a bit slow, which affected service which was otherwise very kind and knowledgeable.
There is a few more Gluten free options than what is on the menu.

Fantastic food! The clam chowder was delicious and the grilled shrimp meal was incredible! Even better than I was expecting. Great portion sizes too, and our server was lovely. Will definitely be back.

Stopped by for the 1st time and were greeted by very friendly staff. Seated quickly and our server was great right from the start. She had lemon water on our table, gave us just the right amount of time to come up with our order and had everything out fresh and hot. Food was delicious, and she had extra tartar sauce delivered within seconds. I would definitely recommend popping in the and giving the fish and chips a try, also had the clam chowder which was excellent as well.

Shrimp Feast was very tasty and included a ton of shrimp.
One thing to look out for, they put a small wedge of lemon in the cooked sauce. You just have to remove it before eating.

This place used to be Joey’s Seafood. Hands down the best fish and chips in the Oceanside area. There are five types of fish to choose from and it’s lightly battered and not overly oily. The fries are also better than other places, nice and crispy. Nothing fancy here, and prices are good as far as seafood goes.

Service was amazing. We came here to celebrate our anniversary dinner and the food was Amazing. We split a halibut & chips and the panko breaded prawns appetizer. Coleslaw was perfect, Halibut was great, loved the Tar sauce & the homecut fries, Portions were on point (not too much, not too little). Would do again and bring friends or family.

My first time there was today, had the baked Snapper au gratin (the tempura asparagus and butter nut squash was also very delicious) and crab cakes for appetizers. Not sure why this place only gets 4.2 stars, the food was excellent, staff was very friendly and when you consider that a cheese burger and fries is almost $20 these days paying only $22 for the baked snapper was a bargain. I will be going back there for sure! The table next to us said they go there often and all the food is great.
Go try it for yourself and I’m sure you will become a regular too.
