Cute and inviting Ai Bao Noodles and Tea place to eat in Auburn, CA. Portions were adequate and food was good. Customer service was great. Purchased the teriyaki chicken and rice plate and received a free sweet tea. We will be back. Thank you!

It’s great to finally have a dim sum spot in Auburn. Long overdue. I tried the har gow and pork buns and they were great! Prices were reasonable, too. I especially liked the dipping sauce that came with the har gow. Definitely check this place out!

Very cute inside, nice music, reasonably comfortable chairs and everything we had was great. We split some udon cause it was cold and had the broccoli beef with garlic sauce, BBQ p pork bao, harhow, xiu mai and they gave us free custard bao which were reasonably good tho I think im going to like them better once theyre cold but im weird. My hot custard loving husband liked them. My daughter’s favorite thing is dimsum and she really enjoyed the bao. Would definitely come again and probably try a coffee/tea but its late right now.

I found this place on Google and stopped by for lunch and quick work. It’d be Auburn Folsom’s best kept secret. Hidden gem for workspace with guest WiFi and the drinks are top notch especially for my sweet tooth craves. My boyfriend and I ordered the Matcha Strawberry with white tapioca and Mango Cloud. The matcha strawberry was surprisingly very light on the stomach with the perfect mix of sweetness and milk. If you like Teaspoon’s silky mango, you’d like the Mango Cloud better.
We ordered the Xiao long bao, chili wontons, beef udon, and custard buns. The chili wontons are the same level as really good shumais. Custard buns are 10/10.
Ambience was cozy and the family who owns it got a sweet-friendly charm, hand serving our food to our table with smiles and all.
Fun insider, you can also join their Polaroid board if you send a photo or take a photo in the shop.

Ai Bao opened in late January and has quickly become my go-to spot when I’m in Sacramento or heading to Lake Tahoe. Their matcha latte with puff cream is my new fave.
Food’s solid too – the chili wontons and xiu mai are both worth trying.
For a new place, they’ve got things running smoothly. Nice people, fair prices, and quality items. Definitely recommend if you’re passing through or looking for a new boba spot in the area!

Super cute little set up. The food was plentiful and delicious. I had the pork belly rice noodle soup. The pork belly was tender, the noodles abundant, and the broth flavorful. It was honestly more than I could eat alone! My sister got the pork and shrimp soup dumplings. They were amazing! Very flavorful in their beef broth. The bbq pork bao were very yummy and hot, served in a trio. It could have had a tad more bbq flavor, but still a solid 8.5 of 10 for me☺️. The Matcha Iced latte and mango cloud smoothie were both 10 of 10

SUPER cute place. I went with my sister during the soft opening. Atmosphere is incredibly cute and aesthetic, and can be a great place for photos. We both got Tai Milk Tea and Beef Ramen, all of it was delicious and made with fresh ingredients, the food and drink looks super cute if you’re a foodie and want to post your meal online! Workers were really friendly and sweet, please come by and support this business!

Food is great, wouldn’t advise coming in when it’s busy because getting your food will take pretty long. Other than that, atmosphere is great! Edit: Be careful when you get their rice plates, they charge an extra dollar for sauce. Definitely a place that prioritizes quality over portion size, but they’re consistently delicious and highly satisfying, though just make sure you’re ready to spend ~$25 per person for both a drink and a meal. Best deal is the rice plates because you get a free sweet tea.

The pork buns were good! I would go back for those. We ordered the noodle dish with steak and it tasted like it was a frozen meal from a grocery store and meat was rubbery. So wouldn’t recommend that. But again the steam bao pork buns were definitely yummy! Service was okay!

Cute new spot. I had the steamed pork buns (set of 3) SOOO fluffy and the perfect snack, my partner had the stir-fry beef udon and that was incredible. I also had the taro cloud drink with boba and it was so so good, I’ve been thinking about it all day!
