Go there maybe once a month. Very quick but not intrusive service. Accurate order and reasonable variety. Food quality very good at very good prices. I would expect to pay a little more. They are family run, not a chain atmosphere. If you expect tasty food but not fancy you will be pleasantly surprised.

I used to love their chicken soup very much. No longer, the chicken soup we got yesterday was awful. It did not have the carrots and zuchini cooked with the soup, but added in at the last minute. The carrots were hard and raw. The zuchini is a little better because it’s a softer vegetable. But they are tasteless and I don’t want a crunchy salad in my soup.

There was only one other person in the place and service still took forever. Two teenagers running the place, both giving me different prices, neither familiar with drinks. Sweet kids but not knowledgeable. They didn’t know if there was a house whiskey.

This place is tough to review because I can’t put my finger on why I don’t think it deserves five stars. Perhaps it’s the limited adult beverage selection or the atmosphere, but it’s just not my favorite Mexican restaurant. With that said, the food is not bad at all, and the service is certainly prompt and friendly. My review and rating here may simply come down to personal preference, I’ve certainly had worse experiences. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a visit here.
