I placed an order to go and the food travels well! They packaged the food really nicely!
I got two breakfast sandwiches and a burrito with some tater tots and it was so good! When me and my boyfriend shared the burrito, we realized how hefty and yummy and filling it was!
We got:
-bacon burrito scrambled eggs
-Ahuevo sandwich with bacon (extra for the bacon since it doesn’t come with a meat)
-pork Sausage, scrambled egg sandwich
-2 tater tots
-horchata iced coffee was delicious!!!
It was pretty pricey, but I did tip them so with tip and food was $65-$70
Important to note that you do have to order the sides separate. It’s not like you get a meal with like a coffee sandwich and tater tots.
Since I haven’t tried everything in their menu so I can’t really give them five out of five just yet.
Nonetheless, the food was amazing !
I’m really picky with scrambled eggs, and I hate when scrambled eggs are watery or to oily or slimy but AHUEVO scrambled eggs were perfect to me and to my boyfriend! We definitely wanna come back and try the smash burgers.

Ahuevo was had for brunch and the food was good. It did not taste all the way up to what was stated on it yet it was a big portion. Atmosphere was a sight to see and presentation of the food was nice

Ahuevo serves good food, though consistency can be variable. I’ve ordered from them several times, always adding a note to make the dish without salt. Sometimes the order comes exactly as requested, but other times it’s too salty and hard to eat. It seems the issue stems from whether the cooks read the instructions. If you prefer saltier food, this spot might work for you. If, like me, you’re sensitive to salt, you might want to choose another place.

Ahuevo is an upcoming local breakfast eatery that has been operating out of Mi tierra Mexican restaurant that will soon have their first brick and mortar location. I had the Canadian bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and the single patty smash burger with a refreshing agua de jaimaica to wash it down. All I can say, ¡Espectacular! The ingredients are of the highest quality, all locally sourced and even the bread is made fresh daily. The bread was spongy amd soft yet sturdy eniugh to handle tnmthe fully loaded smash burger with veggies,sauce,bacon and cheese. The bread for the breakfast sandwich was just as tasty and fluffy with a slight sweetness to it that almost emulates a criossant. The owner Laz was kind enough to come to my table and tell me a little about how he achieves the amazing flavors that are represented in his sandwiches. While sandwiches and burgers seem quite simple, the ingredients make all the difference. That is where Ahuevo shines. Everything from the food and drink, to the wrapping paper and cups in which they arrive made my visit here an eggs-ceptional expreience. Thank you Laz, I hope to be back to this state soon to visit the new permanent location!

Definitely a delight! I had to rewrite my review to add in the tots I ordered! Such a great spot!! I definitely need to dine in. I just love the flavors and presentation is an A+. My sandwich came in a cute little box that unfolded with an amazing sandwich! And my favorite is the in house iced coffee! I wish there was a bigger size but I’ll just have to get 2 next time! Because there will be a next time!

I only order from this restaurant! Customer Service is spectacular. Food is exceptional. Flavors are well put together. Food is always fresh. I’ve had their breakfast sandwiches (bacon, turkey sausage, pork sausage, and breakfast burritos) and they were delicious!!! They are packaged very well whereas it keeps the sandwiches warm and protected. Hot chocolate is made fresh and hot every time!!

This restaurant is inside another restaurant called Mi Tierra. The young lady who assisted us was very nice. We are able to sit inside the restaurant and eat. It looked very clean. I had the puffy tots con huevos and my friend had the turkey sausage and egg sandwich. I also had the Cafe con chata. I received it cold but I know it would taste just as delicious hot. We had no complaints in regards to our food. Everything received was good and hot. I ordered the burrito to go with vegan chorizo and my daughter said it was delicious.

Let me start by saying I have hearsay given a place a perfect score because every place usually has one thing going on, right? Not Ahuevo, I can’t think of a single thing that was off in the slightest. Easily the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Had a great conversation with Laz the owner and on top of having TOP NOTCH FOOD AND INGREDIENTS he is just a good dude! They are opening a brick and mortar on 520 west Harrison and I highly highly recommend checking them out as soon as you can. If you want good breakfast from a place that puts quality above all…this is it!! Good luck on your expansion!
