Ahrre’s Coffee Roastery has been in Business since 1990, and features a premium COFFEE BAR and fresh-roasted gourmet Arabica coffee beans from around the world. All coffees are roasted in-house in small batches, in Scotch Plains. The fresh-roasted coffee is available by the pound. There are over sixty different types to chose from, from single-origin coffees, like Kenya AA and Sumatra Mandhelling, to popular flavors like Hazelnut Cream and Chocolate Raspberry — available in regular AND decaf!

Tucked inside what looks like a liquor and cheese shop, I never would’ve guessed they served amazing coffee here. A friendly coffee maker guided us toward the right roast for our taste, which made choosing surprisingly easy.
We picked up a small sack of their freshly roasted grounds, and the value for the price was excellent. After a couple of days, the grounds turned a little oily, yet the flavor stayed rich and smooth.
A wonderful hidden spot for anyone who enjoys quality coffee and helpful service.

This is a “hidden gem” and an “elevated experience” in Summit IMHO …
The beverage quality is outstanding.
The service is excellent … very kind man running the coffee bar.
The coffee bar atmosphere is nice, it has somewhat a European feel to it especially compared to other coffee shops in town.
Overall, an excellent customer experience.

Its my second time trying their espresso beans here. Burnt taste, do not seem fresh at all. Gregorys coffee down the street has far superior espresso roast beans.

Not open @8:18 am on a Friday in Summit NJ location nobody picking up the phone I think the business is dead! The business responded saying that my review is not true. I Beg to differ, if their business has different hours for Summit location it should be edited.

Espresso in a paper cup and tasted burnt. I don’t feel they know how to really dial down and create a real espresso. More of a coffee shop then an Espresso Bar. Big selection. Nice location with wine store, bakery and Mexican eatery of some type.

The cappuccino was extremely hot and nearly flavorless. The staff was very unfriendly. Definitely avoid this place if you want to have coffee!
