Really good sushi, and super affordable prices! Love the 50% off menu items – I ordered the California roll and Crunchy roll. I ate here twice in the past week. This was such a great find! I had the yakisoba chicken – it was delicious! The chicken was tender and moist. My husband had a chicken lunch special that was a good price and it came with salad and miso soup. We shared a spicy tuna roll that was fresh and so good. They have a great selection of rolls that are 50% off!!

We had an extremely friendly and attentive server named Linda. The portions are hearty and the prices are better than expected. They offer a coupon for a free California Roll with a minimum purchase. The Spicy Edaname was okay, a little more firm than we like. Garlic chicken dinner special was flavorful. The Vegetable Ramen was filling. Lots of noodles, but could have more vegetables. The Spicy Miso Ramen was flavorful. As for the atmosphere, there is adequate seating. The lighting in the evening is a bit on the dark side and there is a prominent fish odor as you walk through the door. The majority of our party would dine here again.

Overall, pretty decent sushi spot in El Cajon. Came in on a Sunday around 12pm and it was not busy. Was greeted fairly quickly and seated. Our server was attentive and the other server also kept helping to clear plates from our table.

There are very few “good” sushi houses in East County with Japanese staff doing the traditional ways. Ahi does traditional with a twist. Beautiful presentations, fresh ingredients and tasty renditions. I’ll be back!
