I found this lovely mom and pop restaurant on the way to the beach and was not disappointed! The cute and unique decorations and great service created the perfect environment for dinner. I’m visiting town but it seems like there’s a lot of locals that visit regularly.
Sushi itself is great quality and the chef gives generous portions! Everything was fresh and made to order.

Delicious sushi and wonderful service. Had a great meal with big pieces of beautiful fresh fish at very good prices. The folks here were so great. I wish I had a sushi restaurant like this at home.

This cozy neighborhood sushi spot is a gem! The mixed tempura was amazingly crispy, and it came in a generous portion. The decor was also super festive, adding to the overall dining experience.

Genuinely such a great spot! Food is always amazing and fresh. Never had long wait times, even when they’re busy! They have amazing deals and the vibe is very laid back but still has that restaurant feel. The workers here are so kind and they consistently deliver an amazing experience. This is my go to sushi spot in San Diego!!!

Had to pull into the parking lot due to car issues, and me and my grandparents and I were hungry, so we walked in.
The place itself is very nice and clean. The entire family was working together to make sure that the restaurant was running smoothly and the food tasted good. And to be honest, I loved seeing everyone work together as a family as my family runs a small business as well.
Now for the important part, the food! Oh my goodness, it was so good! And the prices were great too!!
We just got sushi and the matcha cheese cake. The fish was fresh, and the sushi was definitely well made!
Spicy salmon roll 7/10
– great price! (6.50$)
– tastes great, wasn’t spicy, but it did have a nice little kick to it (only one piece is in the photo LOL)
Mango Crunchy roll 9/10
– the mango melts amazingly with the fish and with all the other flavors
– it’s absolutely delicious, one of the best sushi I’ve ever had !!
Crunchy spicy tuna 8/10
– a great basic sushi! Great for anyone who wants to try something new but stay safe with the classic rolls! (In photo)

We ordered some sushi, fried tofu and salmon bento set. I didn’t take a picture of garlic ramen we ordered because it’s really disappointed, especially for the price. However, rolls were really good. Fried tofu was cripsy outside and really soft inside.

Amazing sushi! Have gone here for 3 yard straight and haven’t gotten old of the food . The fried rice is amazing!! I get it most every time. The atmosphere is amazing as well, Deseray is always there and is very nice!! Menus are very nice too, prices are a bit steep but worth the price and wait! Bathroom is a little hidden in the very back. Highly recommend the combo fried rice!!

If I could give it six stars, I would. I had the tempura shrimp sushi and it was absolutely delicious! One of the best meals I’ve ever had hand down! The sweetheart of a waitress told me to come back for the spider roll and that some people say that’s even better!

Great quality of fish, diligent service, and anime/Japanese media decor? Fantastic spot. I always get too much cuz it’s all good. Try the one punch roll! They also do sushi platters/boats for larger parties.
