The ambience and overall vibe of the restaurant is awesome. It’s very calm and quiet. It’s on the top floor of the building and gives a great panoramic view of the surroundings. The menu is refined as well simple. We ordered the set menu(almost like a thali) where they serve the dishes one by one as per set menu. Other than this we ordered Pan Jal Jeera, Sharbat Kala Khatta, starters – Delhi Soya chaap, Zaffrani Gucchi, Saag, SubzAhara, Kathal ka Khurchan and Rose Petal ice cream. The taste was amazing of all the dishes. We especially liked the Zaffrani Gucchi and Kathal ka Khurchan. Subz e Ahara was pretty average. The ice cream was well churned and had rich flavour. The amount served for all the dishes was insufficient given the price, making it feel overpriced. Atleast the portion size needs improvement. We had a good time though and enjoyed the experience.

I had a fantastic experience at Ahara! The ambience is great and sets the perfect mood for a relaxing meal. The food was amazing—specifically the Indian dishes, which were incredibly tasty and authentic. Every dish had great presentation, making it a treat for the eyes as well.
The location is very easy to find and super convenient, especially being so near the Infosys office. We also loved the nice view of the city from the top; it really added to the atmosphere.
A special mention to Chef Shantanu for the outstanding service and personal touch. Highly recommended!

We went to Ahara @Ottera for my wife’s birthday and had a lovely experience.
Ambience: To start with ambience is tasteful fusion of traditional earthy elements blended with soft contemporary lighting making the entire dining experience splendid. The decor and jaw dropping rooftop views from 14th floor is stunning.
Next, the food is by amazing. chef Shantanu has a refreshing take on relatable recipies but with totally different flavour profiles.. his innovation lay in blending diverse flavors into a subtle delicacies . We specifically loved his his veg dum pulao, tender naans combined with ahaar signature veg sabzi.. His desert combination of gulab jamun, cheese cake and motichoor laddu is subtlely sweet and delightful.. Must say his mango aachars and pomegranate green apple chutney is awesome.

Service is very warm , professional and friendly ..Abhilash Liya. Specifically Deepthi , who also took a beautiful picture of ours, took care of our specific needs and ensured that we were at comfort all through.

Last but the not least, we happened to catch an amazing violinist playing live music inspired by Indian carnatic tunes. His music elevated the entire experience.

Thanks you Ahara and Chef Shantanu for making my wife’s birthday a memorable evening. Looking forward to even more fine evening ahead..

AHARA is situated at the 13th floor of Ottera Hotel in electronic city. I went here for lunch with my colleagues.
The ambience was awesome, very comfortable and the service was best in class.
I ordered the Non Veg thali, which was exceptional. Quality of each item was very good.
I would highly recommend to try their sweet Lassi and Mutton Rogan gosh. It was the best mutton I have ever had, juicy and tendery.
The Kashmiri roti which was part of the thali was super good. The chef came and explained the process of making the roti.
Everything about this place was exceptional.

A great experience. The abundance of wood (typical of The Ottera hotel) creates a unique environment, the view to the city is great (especially in daylight) while the personnel is particularly friendly & professional.

We came back to The Oterra after the hotel FnB manager reached out with an invite for another visit to the hotel based on my previous review of the buffet.

We were happy to invited back and visited on a Saturday night, chose the indian fine dine this time around.

The place felt posh, elegant and perfect for a date night. The menu has a lot of experimental dishes (you may choose to order the usual dishes by consulting with the restaurant staff).

We ordered
– Patiala di Lassi
– Kachhi Kehri ki sharbat (4✨)
– Gajar Nariyal soup (5✨)
– Rajma Galamat (3✨)
– Mirchi ke Camembat (3.5✨)
– Kathal Khurchan
– Dal muradabadi
– Ulta Tawa Parantha
– Laccha Parantha (2✨)
– Angoori Rabdi (3✨)

As you may see, most of the dishes ordered were an experiment and confirmed by the Head Chef as well, we enjoyed some while were not satisfied with some of the dishes ordered and provided our genuine feedback to him as well. Patialia di lassi is really heavy (thickest so far in Bangalore) and really worth trying.

A beautiful place, located on the 13th level, with an outstanding view of E-City.
The earthen decor, long glass windows, the comfortable seating and the exceptional food and service here is the key to such a nice experience. The chefs team is well experienced, each dish that came was nice. I enjoyed the Nalli Nihari. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for Indian food.

One of the finest Indian cuisine restaurants—whether it’s their sheek kebab, biryani, ulte tawa ka parantha, or desserts like angoori rabri, everything tastes exceptional. With an elegant ambience and live Indian classical music, what more could one ask for? It’s truly our go-to place for Indian fine dining.
