The food was poorly made and laughably small in portion. Sushi had thin, low-quality fish and messy rice, and the fried tofu was oily, dry, and flavorless. Hibachi was badly executed — greasy, undercooked, and unorganized.
Service was slow all night, yet an automatic 20% gratuity was added without proper notice, even for a small party. When concerns were raised, management was dismissive and unhelpful.
Overpriced, low quality, and careless.
Save your money and eat elsewhere.

This delightful venue is tucked away at the corner of a strip mall, making it easy to miss.. but what a hidden gem! Everything was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious! The large fountain and koi pond were a fun touch for the atmosphere

I absolutely love this place, this location in particular. I used to ‘dine in’ quite a bit, always a wonderful experience, and a near perfect meal. Unfortunately for the past few years I’ve primarily been ordering my meals to take home and I’m consistently disappointed. Apparently when you phone in an order to take home, the chefs are seemingly ‘phoning it in’ themselves.
My favorite menu item is the filet and shrimp teppanyaki, file cooked rare. When dining in the restaurant it’s cooked to perfection. Take out? I’m lucky if it’s somewhere between medium rare and medium well, frequently it’s not even pink at all and rare should be red. Even the shrimp is typically overcooked. Tonight the shrimp was actually burnt. It was seriously hard and rubbery.
This particular location is easily 1 of my top 5 favorite restaurants in the Phoenix area- when I’m eating at one of those cooking tables, but it’s quickly becoming my least favorite restaurant for pick up and take home. A slight difference in food quality is expected and understandable with ‘to go’ orders. That is not what’s happening here though. This appears to be a blatant disregard for customers who aren’t in the restaurant while eating their meals and theoretically won’t complain when they are served something less than what was expected.
I honestly hope they see this review and make some much needed adjustments with regards to the care they choose to place in preparing food for faithful patrons ordering take home meals.

Horrible service this time. Ever other time we’ve eaten here service and food has been great! Our server was rude and unfriendly. It was my Mom’s birthday and I had to make a joke to my Mom to help justify the server not so nice service and said maybe her pet died. Still not okay but at least I made her smile. Anyway if you can’t be friendly or at least ask us if we need anything else or a refill don’t be a server and or don’t come to work.

Raphael was the chef and the food was sooo delicious! Absolutely loved everything about this place! As a girlie from east coast it’s hard to find good hibachi but omg this place is my new favorite and my go to! Fried rice amazing, veggies delicious, steak and salmon seasoned and cooked to perfection if you want to come here for a noce dinner go for it!!

I’ve been going here since forever, Litterly. Always been great till this year ish, girl at the front desk with black hair usually in a ponytail. Always on her phone and gets pissy with you when you ask to change seats #taking time away from her phone. Hopefully that gets fixed because some people don’t take disrespect nicely.

Kids loved the fish pond in the restaurant and were amazed at the preparation of the food, especially the flames from the onion volcano. My big party also enjoyed watching the chef work with the food and then dish it out. Everything we ate tasted great. I should mention we were celebrating a birthday and they came out with a drum and banged out a song wishing my son a Happy Birthday.

Look usually I am pretty positive, I worked in a restaurant and so I have a lot of grace but the word I would use to describe here is “meh”
I took my parents here recently for teppanyaki and the chef came to do his thing and looked and acted like he hated his life. He was not engaging in the slightest. He might as well have cooked it in the back and brought it out
I can live with that. However when you pay 34 dollars per plate, and get such small portions, something is wrong

This was my first time here. The staff was very friendly and nice. The food was cooked to order in front of us, and the chef was funny keeping up the conversation. We did make a reservation ahead of time, and our table was ready when we got there. I definitely want to come back just for the entertainment.

I had the absolutely best experience at this location. I have been to another location a few times, but this location is top tier. I was a bit disappointed when my favorite food item was removed from their menu over a year ago so I got the teriyaki chicken hesitant that it would be like everywhere else, slimy and gross. When I tell you, this was the BEST teriyaki chicken I have tasted in my life. Not only was our server PHENOMENAL, but everyone there was just so friendly. Our server was so attentive that there was no stacking plates when we left. Whenever a plate was cleared, she was taking it away. She was checking on us every few minutes and will be the reason we drive the extra 30 minutes to come back.
