This was definitely disappointing. We typically go to the Italian restaurant next door but wanted something different. This place was always packed so surely it was good? Nope! My quiadilla had more onions than steak and my husband’s nachos were soggy when they arrives loaded with onions and peppers again no steak and to top it off the sour cream was out dated or something and I had to send back. We won’t be back need the to say. On a positive note the 3 Salsas were good and they had a good service, the food was a huge issue for us.

My first trip here to meet a friend. I really hope that the food, service, and atmosphere is always this pleasant. The price was good, the food excellent. I love that you are given a sampling of three different salsas for the chips.

Was blown away by the amazing food. Everything was so good and portion sizes are huge. Our server was also very nice and courteous which made us feel very welcomed. This restaurant definitely stands out in Athens.

Me and my boyfriend came here to eat a light lunch…big mistake. Portions are HUGE, they definitely do not skimp on the quality and quantity. Prices are really reasonable. We came during their lunch special, and ordered the chilaquiles, tacos, and a chimichanga. I got full from just the free chips I couldn’t stop eating . Saving the rest for dinner. Hands down best place resturant in Athens.

Great local place for a bite of hot delicious Mexican fare. The chips are warm the salsa usually comes out with two or three varieties and you can get all or choose your favorite. We usually get the cheese dip as well. You can choose large or small. Small is good for 2-3 people.

We had frequented this establishment regularly before but it had been about a year since our last visit and boy have things changed. The service was HORRIBLE. We had to literally ask one of the bus boys to get us more chips and salsa after asking our waitress for refills of these items and instead of fulfilling our request, we watched her stand and talk to her co-workers instead. Once our food came, we discovered that two of our 3 orders were wrong. There was sadly no sense of urgency to rectify the issue by the waitress or the manager on duty. The issue with my order could have been fixed simply by bringing a helping of the ingredients left out of my burrito, but instead I received a plate of lettuce with about a teaspoon worth of liquified sour cream drizzled on top. Another order…the Fajita Nachos… were requested without beans but were made with them anyway. The first order of these nachos were made deliciously with cheese, meat, and all the toppings all the way through. However, when the order had to be remade because of the included beans…it was hurriedly thrown together with barely any toppings and no melted cheese. When we showed this to the manager on duty, she blew us off and just said “I’ll bring you a side of melted cheese” instead of offering to remake them properly. We were so disheartened with the lack of care, concern, and service that we simply asked for to-go boxes. After paying the check and on our way out, the lady manager sarcastically yelled a singular and loud BYYYEEEE to us despite the fact that we never showed any anger toward the situation. We will not be returning.
