We ordered the “Classic” Butter Chicken and the sauce was great, possibly one of the best I’ve had. However, it seemed the chicken was cooked separately then added to the sauce, which didn’t allow it to absorb the wonderful flavor. We also tried the Ember Fire Wings, which were flavorful but slightly over seasoned for my taste.
Service was good and the vibe was “modern Indian chic.” It makes for a great date night spot, though the music is a bit loud. Overall, worth coming in.
I’m a huge fan of butter chicken, and it’s honestly very hard to find truly authentic butter chicken in the U.S., but this place nailed it. And the chicken malai tikka… I don’t even know where to begin. It was incredible.
Because it was New Year’s, we also received a small customer discount, which was such a nice touch and really showed how thoughtful and customer-focused the owner is.
Between the amazing food, the welcoming energy, and the overall vibe of the place, everything just came together perfectly.
If you’re looking for authentic Indian flavors, I would genuinely urge you to give this place a try. We’ll definitely be back.
The butter chicken was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a subtle sweetness. The spicy garlic naan was fresh, soft, and had just the right kick.
We ordered takeout this time, but the restaurant itself has a vibrant, colorful, modern vibe that really sets it apart. If you’re looking for great Indian food in Covina, this is absolutely worth trying.
Excited to keep exploring and supporting amazing local businesses like this!
Indian cuisine with generic curries but turned out to be well crafted variety and delicious fresh ingredients and well spiced options. Staff was super attentive with timely followups and the kitchen followed the spice instructions to the T. What started as a travel stop for us ended as a great culinary experience.
The food here is outstanding. I’m a big fan of Indian food. This place serves things a little bit different.
The chicken tandoori is very well well prepared. Not very dry, just right and tasty. The cheese, paneer tikka was awesome, thick and creamy. We also try to mango lassi was excellent. Too bad they don’t have the plain lassi, which is my favorite.
Overall comfortable and friendly place.
Great neighborhood restaurant to have.
Hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had—and I’ve tried a lot. Every single bite was incredible. The garlic naan was next-level (soft, flavorful, and dangerously addictive), and the chicken curry was absolutely amazing—rich, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection.
On top of the food, the atmosphere really sets this place apart. The design and decor are beautiful and thoughtfully done, making it such a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy the experience.
Even the little details stand out—somehow their water tastes incredible (triple-filtered?? magic??), and it’s served in the cutest bottle that you can refill as needed, which I loved.
This place clearly cares about quality, from the food to the ambiance to the smallest touches. I’ll be back many times. Highly, highly recommend.
The tandoori chicken we ordered wasn’t cooked properly. I was surprised when the server told us there were similar complaints regarding raw tandoori chicken being served at other tables. She apologized and suggested we replace it with other dishes. However, when we received the check, she mistakenly added an extra dish that we didn’t order on our check. She also forgot to give us a paper bag for our boxes. I appreciate her effort to try to rectify all the issues and she apologized multiple times. However, I feel that there are too many things that went wrong in a dinner including the undercooked chicken.
We were quite disappointed by this experience and we don’t think we will come back again after this experience.
