Decent all around. Food was good, not great. Flatbread was kind of bland. Prices were high but what else is new in 2023, right? Not a bad place to get a bite, though they did mess up on the hamburger portion of the order. Not a big deal though. They also have a serving robot which seems more like a sideshow than something truly helpful.

I went to Agio Ristorante as a celebratory dinner, and while the service was great the food and ambiance was mediocre. We got dinner at around 8:15 and there was NO ONE there. On the plus side, the servers were very kind and attentive making sure we had the best experience possible. I ordered the Romano Flatbread and even though there was no one there it still took a decent amount of time. The flatbread was extremely mediocre though with there being mountain loads of cheese and no sauce. The salami, pepperoni, and sausage were absolutely delicious though. Thankfully, the flatbread crust itself was really crispy and airy. OVERALL, for Agio’s exorbitant price and mediocre food I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you live in the hotel it’s in.

Don’t sleep on this place. The ketchup on the tables is a red flag for an Italian restaurant but honestly best food we had on our trip. “NY Steak” (not strip…lol) is great. And Chicken Parm is great, Waiter was friendly and my service dog wasn’t judged. 10 out of 10

Dropped in an hour before closing. No wait and the food came out pretty quick. Server wasn’t too attentive, but it was never a problem. He showed up when we needed more water, or whatever, so that’s what counts. Nice guy. My daughter had the fettuccini alfredi, which she devoured. I had the seared scallops with citrus risotto. Definite knock out. Scallops seared to perfection. The risotto was spot on. And the pea puree was just what it needed to put it over the top. I would eat here again!

The New York Strip Steak was very good. The Margherita Flat Bread is great to share with four people. When we went, the restaurant was completely empty, which was surprising. Nice place to go to, especially if you have a hotel nearby that you can walk from.

Additionally, the waiter was funny and helpful.

Decent portions, and nice service. Food was just average. Under seasoned.

We were planning on going to Knotts Berry Farm for dinner, but there was no parking so we went back to the hotel. This was a plan B and we were not expecting a great meal. It was amazing! Great food and service! We went back the next day for breakfast.

My partner and I went here because nearby restaurants were fully booked. We were shocked at the low quality of the food and the experience as a whole. We strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Some evidence:
– The cocktails were nasty; we sent them back immediately. This is the first time we have ever sent something back at a restaurant; they were that bad.
– I had the spaghetti ($21) and it was okay, but I could probably make it better at home.
– My partner had the burger ($18) and it was almost inedible. He “wishes we went to In-N-Out”. The 2 pickle wedges on the side were the best part.
– The “truffle fries” were essentially Walmart frozen French fries.
– The server never refilled our water cups.

The place was practically empty. Please do not prolong their shuttering any longer by patronizing this establishment.

Ok, we could have made a reservation somewhere else, but we were tired from walking the convention (produce) all day. Ruth Chris was booked up, Morton was booked up. We walked into Agio and were delighted. My wife and I were warmly greeted and promptly ushered to a comfortable table in the middle of the dining room, which was not crowded. I ordered the pizza, my wife, the hand built hamburger. Food arrived so promptly I thought it was waiting for us, but of course it wasn’t. We are thinking about breakfast her tomorrow morning.

Was there for dinner and…

Asked for a fresh lemonade from the bar, waiter denied me, got pissed and said they were too busy…

Waiter took our order wrong, messed a plate.

Waiter was screaming over our table spitting over our drinks.

Waiter slammed the lobby doors, as announcing it was time for us to leave the restaurant.

A true gem… in the rough.
