Well after a day in Bushnell park we decided to stop for an snack and this place was in a walkable distance.
My wify and I like to sit on the bar when snacking only, so we walked directly, the bartender was really friendly and welcome us with water and ask us if we want chips and salsa and obviously we say yes.
We order guacamole and the street corn dip, both of them were pretty good, the guac combines with the chips and salsa just amazing. Happy hour many is a blast, got some mexican draft beer for few dollars.
The bartender keep checking on us really friendly and we have small conversations with him about random things in NE, lol.
I do recommend this place 100%.

After seeing “Mark Twain Tonight” at TheaterWorks, a fabulous show with Richard Thomas, we were hungry and found our way to this lovely Mexican Cantina (OK, Grill). The service was swift and friendly, with salsa and chips landing seconds after we were seated. A nice selection of beverages complimented a variety of my favorite Mexican dishes. My son wolfed a Quesadilla, spouse loved the Fish Tacos, and the BBQ Pulled Pork Enchilladas were beyond delicious. The music was great, not too loud, and the decor very Cantinesque. I only wish it was closer to home! Gracias for a great meal!

I gave it 3 stars to be fair. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. The music was good. The service was great. I had a really nice waiter/bartender. But I wasn’t really satisfied with the food to be honest. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. The shrimps tasted like frozen shrimp from a bag. The cheese sauce was a bit overwhelming and the dish was bland overall. The red sangria wasn’t that good. It just tasted very sweet and tasted like there was more bar ingredients than red wine. The rice was ok. But the black beans were lacking flavor and sauce. It was like if they drained the can of Beans and just heated it up in the pot. I’ve had really good enchiladas before which usually comes with the option of a red, green, or mole sauce. This wasn’t the greatest Mexican dish. The chips and salsa was a hit. Maybe if I tried something else it would have been good. But I would recommend it for the ambiance and service.

This was a delightful dinner experience and we truly enjoyed our first time here. The restaurant is located in the heart of the downtown neighborhood and is easily accessible to the local event centers. The food was delicious and remarkably flavorful with very good quality and portion sizes that you very much get your money’s worth. The staff was so very friendly and attentive to the table and I could hear our customers saying the same thing. The atmosphere was festive and welcoming too. Parking is limited to the street so be aware of that potential limitation. It is also highly recommended to seek out a reservation for busier nights.

I wanted to love the food but I couldn’t. I ordered mango chicken skewers because nothing else on the menu appealed to me. My companion had the steak fajita. The plates were presented well but the chicken lacked flavor. The mango sauce was sweet but again lacked flavor. The steak was seared perfectly. My companion loved his meal. But for me, the meal was flat. Nothing stood out about the flavors. The free salsa and chips was a plus. The chips weren’t stale or old. The rice and black beans were mediocre. It was pricey for what you can get at a food truck but given the location the price was fair. The food came out luke warm. Maybe, my mood affected my review but the food didn’t help. I wanted to leave and eat someplace else. Sorry. I wanted to love this place. The decor was on point. The location was prime to the downtown area. It became really crowded in a short time in a Friday evening. It got loud really quickly. No you can’t carry a conversation without yelling or repeating yourself. So it’s a popular spot. I wouldn’t go back.

We stopped in for a late snack after our train came in last Sunday night. The bartender and other staff were very welcoming, despite nearing closing time. We really appreciated the warmth of the staff, but the food was also amazing. The guacamole was delicious, and the corn tortillas were a nice surprise. We will definitely be back.

Delicious food. We came on weekday lunch and not too many people. Ordered enchiladas and agave tacos. Both came with rice and beans. Portions are huge and served with salsa. They served tortilla chips as a welcome snack. We had beef and pork and the meat was so tender and juicy. Everything was well seasoned. Service was great and very friendly.

Needs some more decor around the restaurant. Food was good, I had enchiladas. Good service although, they just kind of stand around looking at you while you eat like they don’t have anything else to do. Eventually, would go back.
