The food was so yummy. They even had gluten free food for my daughter with celiac disease. She has extreme reactions to gluten/wheat and she was able to eat at a restaurant for once and not feel sick. We will definitely come back soon! They were so sweet and accommodating making sure there was no cross contamination with her food and changing gloves.

This used to be my favorite place, until this last time. We were 5 people and I noticed a Gratuity charge of $30. I asked another server that was passing by and she said “I wouldn’t be able to answer why she’s charging that but I can call her” I knew right there this is not the rule. We were 5… not 8, not 10… then she came with an attitude and “said we split tips for everybody it’s not just for me, was my service not good enough?”
This leaves a bad taste. People, check your receipts… this is not the first time that happens to me (has happened in other places with a table for 2) so I always check my receipts. It is unacceptable and the attitude when confronted even worst. She even said that they normally charge it for tables of 4+… total BS I’ve been a customer for years and if it was the norm, all servers would be aware of the policy and anyone could have answer when I asked. I was nice enough to leave her a nice cash tip which I regret now I’m looking back.
She said, I will ask the manager to remove it… girl, I worked in restaurants, don’t come at me with that. I don’t think I will go back tbh but it doesn’t matter. But people need to be aware of these practices.

The quantity of food was appropriate for the lunch serving. The food was tasty, not over the top and not bad at the same time. The chips were crispy. They were not stale. The salsa was hot too hot to eat the food. I had was decent, but the bill was absolutely too high for three people. My grandson got a cheese quesadilla and a side of rice $19. Are you kidding me? I highly recommend that you pass this place by and cost per plate is way over the top for what you get. This is not a fine dining established ring. It’s a run of the mill. Mexican joint.

They have excellent food, we’ve dined there several times. The drinks are tasty. The fried ice cream is divine. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent, even when they are busy. We love Agave Cocina & Cantina. We highly recommend them.

I came for dinner, they provided chips and salsa which is always appreciated. The manager came by to check on us which is not always commonplace but we noticed his effort. The food was a bit slow to arrive but was excellent. I would recommend going and getting their rice and beans side. Their beans did not have lard, but it was incredible. I would highly recommend and I will be coming back.

We stopped by Agave for happy hour and overall had a good experience. We ordered the carne asada nachos, but ended up getting chicken instead—still, they were tasty and loaded with cheese, so no real complaints there.
We also tried the carne asada taco combo. The tacos were flavorful and well-prepared, but a bit on the pricey side compared to similar spots in the area.
My friend ordered the veggie flatbread and really liked it, although the cut of the lettuce was a little strange—more of a personal preference thing, but worth noting.

The service was okay. The mood in here was damp. We placed our orders and the food arrived within 20 minutes. The portions are very small for the high prices. Chips/Beans/and Rice are filler foods. My meal was mediocre and the presentation of my food left much to be desired. They need to increase their portions or decrease their prices. The food isn’t keeping them in business. It’s likely the bar/drinks that bring them repeat business.

I absolutely love this place. Their food is delicious, the portion sizes are big so it’s a great value for money, and their happy hour is wonderful. They make the best margarita in Kent!! My favorite is their “ultimate margarita.” The staff is super friendly and attentive without being over the top, and it’s just a comfortable, welcoming place for drinks or dinner or both. They have a fantastic selection of tequila (they have hard to find ones at decent prices!). I absolutely highly recommend stopping in! The main dining area is great, but the bar area is my favorite (for those 21+). It’s evident that a lot of thought and care is put in to the place. Come give Agave Cocina a try!

Good location that is always clean, the interior and decor is nice. Food taste yummy and authentic. Once your done with your meal you can walk around the plaza outside safely with your family. The only downside is cost, some items are a bit pricey.

We were seated right away. They brought us water and then our chips and drinks in a timely manner. There was red and green salsa to dip your chips in. You can ask for beans too. My wife had the vegetarian enchilada and I had the Californian burrito. These are decent size meals.
