The service overall is pretty good. Nothing crazy either way but we’ve never had an issue with the waitresses and they do a good job.

The food however is blah. We’ve tried several things here and have gone a couple time but never really liked anything. Nothing is worth ordering twice so we’ve tried several items on the menu looking for what’s really good. Its all mid from what we’ve had.
We’ve tried the elote, the dipper sampler, the lime enchiladas I think they were called and a couple other things. Overall there just isn’t a lot of flavor or care in the construction of the plate and it seems like the quality of the actual ingredients is pretty low (yet the prices are relatively high for the area).
Never had the drinks so can’t really give a review on that but just needs a menu revamp or some better quality ingredients maybe.
The ambiance and music is nice. Some of the seats are torn but overall really like the atmosphere.

Overall not the worst place but not really a first pick (or even a 5th) either.

The service was great, our waitress was amazing. We ordered sopes and enchiladas. The food was good it just needed more flavor not sure why the rice was so pale. You would think they don’t like their customers I had a giant hoja de laurel in my enchiladas. The piña colada was the worst drink I have ever had unfortunately it just tasted like water. This was my second time coming to dine in not sure what happened since they opened. The restaurant still look really nice though just need more work on the traditional Mexican food. (Chipotle has more flavor )

I moved to Sneads Ferry last summer and have spent more time at Agave than other restaurant. Megan is the sweetest server and the food is so good!

Great food, poor management.

Recently, I tried making a reservation for 30 people.
We had everyone confirmed they are coming, had a set time, and we were excited to share good food with all of our people.

We were told by the manager that they don’t take reservations and that its first come first serve. Thats fine. We get it.

We tried to verify at that point that they could accommodate a group that big.
We weren’t told no, just that again, they couldn’t take reservations.

Day of, we had two people in our party call ahead again, ahead of the ancitipated time of arrival, to tell them that we were still coming and tried to make sure they had the room and were prepared.

Manager on the phone was short and snippy saying they don’t take reservations on the first call. It took another person in our party on a different phone call to get her to say that the restaurant was empty at the moment so we were good to come by.

When we arrived, the manager stuffed us in a corner and was being difficult when we asked for a different space to have this dinner in what was an empty and understaffed restaurant.

It took very much negotiating to get her to give us a better spot because of the potential of having other customers come in overruled the current party of 30…. just a reminder the restaurant had maybe 3 tables taken up at 4p and then we had our group of people. She made it a point to state we needed to have the space cleared by 6. Mind you, we got there at 4, and because it was understaffed it took almost to 5 to get all of our orders in.

This manager made it very clear that the *potential * for more customers was more important than the current 30 people in front of her.

I have always liked the food but everything came out super cold. At that point, we were tired of asking for better service from a manager who was more preoccupied about money they could potentially make with the imaginary customers.

The ONLY saving grace was a server named Luz and the fellow that helped her. Thank you to you two for trying to make a celebratory wedding dinner into a better experience than what we were first greeted with.

All in all its left a bad taste in all of our mouths and many of us have expressed never wanting to give them our busines agin. Its quite a shame because the food is honestly really good but the managment is enough to deter me from wanting to come back.

This is definitely the most Gringo of Mexican restaurants that ive EVER ate at. No Mexican or Spanish rice for one, just white rice with corn in it, super Gringo on that one. A majority of my reviews are of a Mexican restaurant, im always picky with jalapeños but cooking them with seeds is a simple task. This was a huge let down. My quesadilla was average, no queso ontop, i was given a cold seedless pc cup of jalapeños. The server kept our drinks full and was friendly 95% of it (when i brought up the cold jalapeños there was 2 seperate visits to our table of eye rolls). They messed up on the jalapeños twice and I just settled with not eating them. To put in to reference this restaurant is as Mexican as a Susan wearing a sun visor cap waving a Mexican Flag saying Mehhhhhico. I do not recommend this American Food place at all.

We’re local and this restaurant one of our absolute favorites! The food is top notch and their rice is delicious! My family orders a lot of different things but each time I visit, I get their keto chicken. It’s my favorite!! Service is always really good as well!

The food and service here is amazing. The server constantly checked in on me to see if the food was okay or to ask if I needed anything. The food was superb: I had the brisket tacos with jalapeño toppings. The jalapeño margarita was amazing as well. Both the food and the drink were well priced.

We stopped for a quick drink and a couple appetizers and were positively surprised. We wanted to visit this places but it was never on the way. Today we finally did and will for sure make an effort to come back. Drinks were good, service was quick, staff were friendly, and the food was fantastic! Personally, best Mexican food you can get in the area. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
Ps. Not sure why the outside terrace was closed, but hopefully next time we visit it’s open.

Came on a super busy day but honestly everything was still great. Most importantly, Nico was our server and he was awesome — super friendly, super attentive, and always making sure we were good without being over the top. The food was really good, but the mango blackberry margarita?? SO good. Perfect flavor, not too sweet, just right. All the drinks were on point. Definitely coming back!

I stopped in and the front desk staff were very nice—my order came out quickly. I got the carnitas tacos, which were decent, and a side of guacamole. Unfortunately, inside the guacamole I found an entire produce sticker (the kind with the barcode that goes on avocados). This should really be made more carefully to avoid things like that ending up in the food.
