My husband and I popped in last night and were so grateful to have a place to go celebrate our anniversary after the kids went to bed everywhere else in town was closed and not quite the intimate setting we were looking for. Dessert was delicious and the bubbles on the house provided by our waitress made it even more special. Thank you Jessica! We’ll be back!

Small menu, but everything is fantastic. The service was amazing. I’m someone who likes minimal engagement, and she just picked up on it.

The experience was mixed. Had a reservation but ended up in the back quite near the busy kitchen door and exit to restrooms. Things started well, and the waitress was great. Unfortunately, the main course arrived ~40 min after the salad course finished and was taken away with no hint of why. Naturally, some near by diners who were seated later had meals arrive in a timely/correct fashion. And while the Halibut was cooked just right the hummus base was very so-so and cold, which may have been intentional, but made the entrée disappointing, and certainly for the cost. This precipitated a desire to call it an evening, skip any further beverages or dessert and just move on. It just seems the trend for this level of dining boils down to serendipity on the food quality and timing for diner but certainty on the cost being $$$$ for the restaurant. Which will always mean a bitter taste for diner.

I knew this restaurant when they opened and it *great* then. But my dining experience last night was so bad I won’t bring guests there again. Mediocre food, indifferent service did not justify the $$$

They make every meal feel special. The food is the best on the island and they change the menu regularly. We always look forward to coming. They have indoor, outdoor and bar seating. Reservation recommended.

A welcome addition to the Bainbridge dining scene. Warm ambiance, friendly service and delicious food that manages to be both refined and comforting. (The coq au vin and bread pudding were both divine.) Only the bar needs improvement – my negroni was passable but the party ice and orange wedge need to go.

The food was very good, but the service was fantastic and we appreciated the experience. We thought it was good value, and there was a genuine commitment to quality all around.

Took the ferry over to Bainbridge to eat at Mora (ice cream) and Agate. Both highly recommended! Mussels were perfectly done is a light and flavorful curry broth, use the spoon to finish it all! The elk burger was perfectly cooked with crispy shoestring fries. Certainly a great place for PNW forward fare.
