Delicious, flavorful, quality food with generous portion sizes. Inventive menu with a good variety of dishes and drinks to choose from. The decor is eclectic, fun, and pretty. Music plays at a moderate volume. The staff is polite, professional, gracious, and very welcoming.
There are accessibility barriers that may be challenging for guests with restricted mobility and using assistive mobility devices. The restaurant’s bathroom can only be accessed by guests who can walk up and down steps and open doors. More details can be found later in this review.
I will bring my friends here in the future. The food is fantastic and we felt so welcomed!

Great burger, great atmosphere, great service. Highly recommend this place, it’s such a charming bistro that you can tell someone put a lot of love into.
Food was great, I could have used slightly more seasoning on the burger, that’s just personal preference.

Wow, what a surprise this place was! The decor was positively captivating. If you love vintage, this place is decorated with all authentic amazing items. Their chandelier and light collection is one of a kind. The restaurant is clean and peaceful and the service is very good. Our food was also very good. In particular we each had different sandwiches off the menu and they were all excellent. We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was tender and delicious too.

All our food was cooked to perfection. The crab cakes are to die for and the fish tacos were perfectly grilled with a crisp edge. Cocktails we tried are average but the food and service will keep us coming back. Quaint atmosphere with a lot of whimsical energy. You can tell the love that goes into this place! Fantastic energy and an overall wonderful feel to the place. You won’t be disappointed!

Super cute place, love the decor. 2 of us ordered lunch 2 ordered breakfast. My mushroom omelet was good but lacked flavor, the fish tacos has very little fish but good flavor. Our drinks were great! I’ll go back and try other dishes.
So our waitress, tall blonde, completely lacked personality or customer service warmth, no smile, no attention to detail and was in need of an overall ” refresh” of her hygiene. This was hard for me because I need pleasant smells when I’m eating.

This is our second visit to Agate Alley. First was for dinner. This was for brunch.
Ordered the Crab Benedict, Salmon Benedict, Regular Benedict, and the French Toast. Everything was delicious. My only complaint was that the eggs were not correctly cooked and overcooked. The hashbrowns were mushy and not great either.
Otherwise, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was amazing. Service was slow.
I would recommend them for a visit!

Only 4 stars because the fish tacos weren’t that great and the clam chowder was a 1/10. I wouldnt recommend it. Everything else was fabulous and I would absolutely recommend this place and come back!

We visited 1 June 2024 for brunch. I would recommend against the Bloody Mary bar. They don’t have much accoutrements. We got the smoked salmon Benedict and It’s the Schmidt which were both quite good. I was pleased when a bunch of U of O students wanted to come in to take pictures but were turned away. That would have killed the quiet and peaceful mood.

Being able to read your customers’ needs is paramount in the service industry. I know being a waitress isn’t easy. Knowing this, I kept the tip high. The
